Come on...I actually like Sam Peter and think he is a decent guy, and Toney should act with more class sometimes. But Peter got taken to school. Giving Peter every benefit of the doubt in the coose rounds, the fight was 6-6 and he lost a point. how could he win? Being objective, Toney won 7-8 rounds, and clearly won the fight. It was a joke.

Yea, I agree. I guess showtime put their money on the more younger and "promotable" fighter. But I agree AT THE WORST it was a draw. Still cant believe Toney actually ROCKED Peter lol. That shiet was funny lol. Peter was supposed to knockout out the smaller Toney just like Rahman, but failed...even with his illegal rabbit punches to the back of the head. Toney didn't even complain about that. I wish he would've retaliated and hit Peter in the nuts though.

james toney won. there is no argument to be made here. peter never knocked him down. he hurt toney 3 times and aside from landing 3 big shots he didn't do anything except get hit the whole damn fight. meanwhile peter actually dropped klitchsko 3 times but lost.

james toney lost the fight because sam peter has a rock chin and he punches harder- and thats it. i was really bummed after the fight, really really bummed. and was anybody else bothered by the fact that they didnt show punch stats throughout the fight? i'm willing to bet toney landed at least 3x as many shots as peter.

It's like these guys just discovered crooked decisions, and this one wasn't even crooked! Duh, almost every freakin' high profile fight nowadays in gangster owned and operated boxing has BLATANTLY crooked goings on - fighters taking dives, getting drugged, house judges - all the Melvinas and so forth (what are their qualifications for the job, or do they just buy it, or are they just related to Don King?), and house referees, like Randy Neumann and Wayne Kelly.

yeah, werewolf, in response to your first post, were you in the ring when Toney went after Peter's manager, Gotzev? did you actually see what Gotzev said to Toney to get him riled up? Toney doesn't get angry unless he's provoked, Gotzev knew this and started trash talking.. don't try to make James out to be the bad guy here
