i think peter is as strong as advertised, he hit james with some serious right hands, any other HW would have folded especially klitschko. i dont think peters power is overated as much as toneys heart and chin are UNDERrated

toney had a great chin for a middleweight but for a heavyweight he has an average punch if peter was the massive puncher everyone thinks that he is . He would of being able to put peter on the deck . He couldnt even put Wald on the deck legally and wald has a glass chin . peter is a hard puncher but he is not the hardest puncher in the divsion .

Peter is the hardest puncher in the division, and Toney has hands down the best chin in the division. Brewster would have been knocked out by by Peter's punches.

Toney is hard headed just like Hagler was, its funny an ex middleweight has the best chin in the HW division today.

but whose punches were more effective?

I agree that his power was overrated but he hits much harder than rahman as he demonstrated last night. he hurt toney badly whereas rahman barely made him flinch. you can just see the strength difference in there delivery. peter is heavier handed and throws all his weight into his shots whereas rahman is more of an arm puncher. of course rahman has a much better jab and is busier which explained his success against toney whereas peter's success was soley on his physical strength and power

wlad is a much better knockout puncher than peter. his punches are much quicker and straighter and thrown with more leverage as his fight with shufford demonstrated. peter couldnt put him down when he hit him,,,,wlad did. I also think brewster is a better knockout puncher as well. more snap in his shots. peter is # 3 in the punching department in my opinion. he may be the physically strongest but not the best punching heavyweight

I think that Wlad is physically stronger then Peter.
Just look how he handled the guy when they were in clinches.

shufford happened before sanders.wlad doesnt commit to his shots like he used to before he was KO'd by sanders.
