It was a legit win for Peter. He was the aggressor all night and threw the harder punches that had more of an effect on Toney. Samuel did more damage to himself by keeping up a relatively high workrate than Toney ever did IMO. I think there was only one point in the whole fight where Toney hit Peter with a combination and he momentarily stopped coming forward.

Toney is as tough as they come and still has a few fights left in him but let's not take anything away from Peter's win tonight.

However Peter really needs to weigh a good 15 pounds less what he was tonight. The extra weight slows him down and takes the edge off of his power.

What do you have to say to defend all your previous statements. That was that there was NO WAY that James Toney could ever take a heavyweight punch from Peter?

Man i can't wait to see this fight. It seems like it was pretty good. I just don't see how people can say the HW div is dead, when we keep getting good fights like these.
