Bhops started slowly, even though he won the championship rounds it's not enough. Taylor already piled the points early.

These two fights disgust me. Lampley, the scoring, HBO, etc. A whole big "let's make Jermaine Taylor the guy" campaign carried out. The second fight was even more sickening. The whole big deal made over Hopkins not doing anything in the early rounds was ******.

Any semi-knowledge boxing fan saw it live [not after 564 replays in slow-mo] that Taylor wasn't landing ****. Stop listening to Lampley and use your brain. With his power he would of knocked Hopkins out by the 5th round if he landed all the punches & combos Lampley was nutting himself over.

And to whoever said Hopkins was afraid of Taylors power, what was he supposed to do? Stick his chin out and be a big man and take a clean punch? He respected his power and neutralized it with, as usual, great defense.

        Second fight:
        Taylor power punches
        60 of 182, 33%

        Hopkins power punches
        101 of 240, 42%

Duane Ford or whoever from the first fight gave Taylor the 12th round to make up for at least one earlier round he gave to Hopkins that should have gone to Taylor. Lederman does it all the time. It's bull**** first of all that judges try to keep it close early on by giving some rounds to the guy who is falling behind, but it happens. Score it like you see it and we'd have no problems ever. Mayweather-Castillo I wouldn't be as close, for example, on Lederman's card if he just scored it like it was for the first 6 rounds, Mayweather winning at least 4, probably 5 of those rounds very clearly.
I had Taylor 116-112 in the first fight and Hopkins 115-113 in the rematch
