This was just another fight about the age old question of "Does more punches but less accurate count or does less punches but more accurate count" as well as other questions that people can never agree on.

I really wish people would create a clear defined points system for boxing... In my opinion, judges should all RARELY ever score a fight 1 point away from each other because of how well they are trained.

I had it 115-113 for Hopkins. Not a good enough fight to make me watch it twice.

i watched it twice, & in slow motion those flurries from Taylor hit mostly air, but what's done is done. At least it made it so that Hopkins could move up to LHW & school Tarver.

Correction; the shots didn't hit air, but they weren't landing effectively, the were being effectively dodged.

Taylor won it 115-113 and took the rematch 116-112 on my cards. Hopkins feared Taylor's power and maybe could have won if he hadn't shown so much respect. But good judging all around. Duane Ford or whoever from the first fight gave Taylor the 12th round to make up for at least one earlier round he gave to Hopkins that should have gone to Taylor. Lederman does it all the time. It's bull**** first of all that judges try to keep it close early on by giving some rounds to the guy who is falling behind, but it happens. Score it like you see it and we'd have no problems ever. Mayweather-Castillo I wouldn't be as close, for example, on Lederman's card if he just scored it like it was for the first 6 rounds, Mayweather winning at least 4, probably 5 of those rounds very clearly.

Personally speaking I think Lederman is biased when it comes to the aggressor, I don't recall what fight it was, but I once heard him say something like, "He's being effectively aggressive, I don't care how many shots he's landing" well, if someone's not landing, then how's the aggression effective

Not a robbery, but I think the first fight was a gift.
