Toney's style always give him the advantage, especially in his last fight vs Rahman...jorge.

If Peter wants to win he has to work all night. He will have to do what Rahman did and hit whatever is there but, he has to pick up the pace on that. I thought Rahman beat Toney and he also hurt his body with the downstairs attack. If he's looking for a one punch KO he might not find it.

When sitting down to write this preview I just could not see Toney dropping another 'W' from his record. In fact I even had Toney beating Rahman by a few points, Rahman threw 300 more shots (or thereabouts) to land 19 more overall? Where is the punch picking there? Toney made Rahman think and back-up, this is a former 160lb guy out punch picking a big heavyweight with a considerable punch.

Can Peter hit with single shots as hard as the guys I mentioned? I do not see it. People went crazy when he KO'd Williams, how crazy did they go when Henry Akinwande did it clean to Jeremy? That left hook was a heavy swat and it iced Jeremy but I don't think Williams could hold his shots.

Given the amount of stuff I do on Toney I could be called a 'nut-hugger' but I simply think his skills are a dying breed and many fighter think defensive boxing is like running the 1500 metres. I want him to mop-up the belts and live forever

Whoever had the Wu-Tang signature, is there any word on a new album yet?! I hear Ghostface and MF-Doom are working on an album or at least a mix-tape!

All it takes is one good shot on the grill from Peter, but that one good shot maybe hard to find, I cant pick a winner, I havent been able to eversince the fight was signed and I dont think I will now. Peter hits hard but he has no technique and just throws those punches out there they can be easily countered by a master like Toney, If Peter had more technnique it would be a diffrent story....

i like both guys, but i think toney will be to technically sound for peter to do anything. if peter does get the win, it will be a lack of jab from toney.

One good shot to the head will be nearly impossible for Peter to land. Peter is technically an amateur and Toney is as polished as they get. Peter only has a limited window to land this bomb, since he is coming in at 260lbs I see him fading after 4-5 rounds. I just see Toney on the ropes is too big a temptation for Peter who will punch himself out hitting armss, shoulders and air.

Toney to win by a late round KO/TKO in the 2006 version of rope a dope.

"I go for Toney to decision a tiring Peter and punish him down the stretch. Jirov tried to club Toney into defeat and look what happened to him."

Bad example because Peter is 70 pounds heavier than Jirov. If it is a slugfest, Peter wins.

I disagree somewhat, if it is a slugfest Peter won't connect, as odd as that sounds.

I meant that Peter will think he can walk into Toney and wear him down but across Toney and take away left and right by stepping to Toney's left and popping in the shots. Nimble guys give him trouble. I think Peter may telegraph his shots and send them by second-class airmail.

Sorry if I didn't make it clear. I don't think Toney needs to let his guard go into gunslinger style, merely allow Peter to trundle on and pick him apart. Peter hits hard but they are clubbing, can he club Toney apart? No one has done it before.
