In that BS interview with Toney after the fight with Rahman, he was complaining about his kidneys and how Rahman had "tore him up" with illegal punches.

Toney's midsection is not toned, and that's a big target. Not to mention Peter has a tendency to throw illegal type punches that can immobilize his opponents quickly.

The only time I've ever seen Toney hurt, wasn't when he was knocked down, but when he grimaced after Jirov landed a body shot late in their fight. It was the only time I've seen James Toney even acknowledge a punch and he took a couple of seconds to catch his breath.

Toney will be put through some punishment in this fight.

I don't doubt Peter will lay some punishment, and him winning by KO isn't out of the question. He's a hulk.

But at a career high in weight, Peter's mid section is just as much a target for Toney, and that is always part of James' plan.

He had both sides of Ruiz's ribs looking like this:

and considering body punches tire a man out, it's going to be even tougher for Peter if he doesn't score an early KO, because he's never been a good conditioned fighter, and he's at a career high in weight for this fight.

All I'm saying is that despite Toney looking the way he does in the photo's of the weigh in, he's thrown 1000+ punches in worse shape than that.

I think Toney knows from the Rahman fight to protect his body & work Peters.
