257 is bad for Peter. Against Wlad he was 243. That is gonna work against him. I thought Toney was gonna be heavier than 233, but he'll probably blow up some in the next two days. I thought he was gonna weigh in 245 or something.

Heavyweight contenders James Toney and Samuel Peter weighed in today for Saturday's heavyweight elimination bout at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Toney weighed in at 233, a few pounds less than he weighed for his previous fight against Hasim Rahman. Peter weighed in at 257. After the stare down both fighters became embroiled in a shouting match to the delight of the many fight fans who came out to see the event. Order was quickly restored and now the table is set for another excellent matchup SHOWTIME championship boxing this weekend.
