i think its hilarious to say a guy is too small for 147, ive been watching the little league world series and the starting pitcher for the japanese team (12 years old) was 5'9 145, i was thinkin to myself "damn, thats diego corrales size right there"

Steve Forbes won his first world title in December of 2000 with a TKO over John Brown who could not continue because of a ruptured eardrum. In a rematch with Brown, Forbes won a clear cut decision to take any question away about his title. Forbes has very little power, but relies on his solid boxing skills and bulldog style to wear down his opponent. For some reason, Forbes did not fight for almost a year, and then lost his title by not being able to make weight in his title defense against David Santos. Forbes came into the ring at 152 pounds, no where near the Junior Lightweight limit. Forbes won a very close split decison, but the belt was vacated. Forbes heart has to be questioned and recently resurfaced in the Lightweight division, but says he will get a title shot next at Junior Lightweight.
