That is not how I remember it. Lewis took the money offered by King and Tyson. Don King as I remember did not have anything to do with McCall vs Lewis 2.

Either way, Atomic Bull was a dud at the rematch.

Lewis probably would have been stopped, but he looked like he could fight. his posture was quite weird, though. he had his gloves up real high and was on unsteady legs, similar to how Forrest looked in the first Mayorga fight. referee could see his eyes better than we could, so it's up to him.

I'm going to the McCall fight on the 9th by the way. I'm gonna ask him what his face is made of. Or maybe if he has adamantium in him.

all i saw was the knockout. mccall puts him down with a quick right. lewis stands up, looks ok, but his legs are total rubber. the ref stops the count, even though lewis is standing, and waves it off, much to lewis' astonishment and dismay.

so lewis wanted to continue but his legs were gone and the ref stopped it. i think it was a good stoppage, but an arguement can be made to say it was premature.

the rematch was a very different story.
