Originally posted by beez721I still cant see all this hype about serg. he's only beaten one good fighter and brewster was out of shape in that fight and is more up and down than a yo-yo and he still nearly knocked serg out. serg leaves himself open and isnt a big puncher in my opinion. he only has 14 knockouts against weak opponents. I think he'd get taken out pretty easily by wlad who's a far more accurate puncher than brewster and wont come in out of shape as brewster didComment

I like the fact that Liakhovich is calling out Wlad to unify, but why isn't he calling out Valuev? At least Brock is more credible an opponent than Barrett; where's the critism on "the beast."Comment

Trash-talking does not contribute to the entertainment value of boxing except in the rare cases (ALI!) when the fighters are intelligent enough to say interesting things. To listen to halfwits like Toney and apparently Sergei say ****** things about their opponents is a waste of time. I am interested in these guys as fighters and look forward to their upcoming matches, but the ****** comments do not increase my interest at all. It belongs in wrestling really.
If trash talking bothers some of you guys, then I recommend figure skating for you guys, oh wait I forget about Tonya Harding.Comment
