Personal opinion - Mora is like every other charismatic boxer. On that note, I think the guy is great, and good for boxing. Yes, he's a showboat and ****y, but when was the last time anyone actually heard him speak disrespectfully about a boxer, the business, or anything? He talks about himself and shows off a little in the ring, but thats all. And thats fun to watch, love him or hate him. The crowd went nuts when he "toed the line" last night. And everyone is right, the performance last night was less than great as compared to how he fought Termeliksetian, but the fight was ugly in general. Regan was holding and clinching to keep Sergio from getting one of his stoppgage-by-flurries. (Personal opinion).
Anyone else hate Mora with a passion?

He does not deserve my hate.
I just dislike him. He aint on a skill/talent/exposure level to be hated yet.Comment

im with you on this 100 percent, i just posted something in the lyakovich/wlad thread about **** talking....
as long as youre not personally attacking your opponents race, nationality, family etc you can do or say whatever as far as im concerned. i used to talk mad **** when i played basketball in college, you can really get under the skin and take people out of there game and it doesent require you talking about their mother either.Comment

I thought the "toe the line" move that he did on ESPN was pretty entertaining. The guy doesn't have ko power, but he comes to fight and fight hard.Comment

Before the contender on one of my local channels -I didn't know at the time who he was- but their was Sergio Mora, the Latin Snake. Doing his think, fighting and showboating and getting pissed off at his opponet. And this was before the contender. Even then i can tell he didn't have power but he was exciting and had balls to do the **** he does, looks easy but inside the ring its a lot more dangerous. So Mora the fighter didn't change and I doubt he changed who he is. He's just a ****y fighter, always has been, and he makes exciting fights. Many fighters make a run for the title of their ****yness, many became or become great because of their ****ynewss and never quiet, im better then you attitude. Boxing is a sport where its not good to be humble in the ring.Comment
