    Quintana won’t step aside….

    http://www.endi.com/XStatic/endi/tem...a.aspx?n=59493 (article is in spanish)

Quintana’s manager said in an interview with endi.com that his fighter won’t step aside to let Cotto fight Urkal for the WBA Welter title on December 2nd…

“the first offer from Top Rank was sent to us two weeks ago…They offer to put Quintana in the same card as Cotto and Margarito on December 2nd against a bum for a good purse, we didn’t accept that offer because Quintana wants to fight for the belt”

“Then this Wednesday they offered us some money plus the agreement to fight the winner of Urkal-Cotto…Our response was the same, that if they wanted to find an opponent for Cotto for December 2nd, the only thing they need to do is look for him in Moca (Quintana’s hometown)”
    .....................

Oh ****, Quintana callin out Cotto! I'm a huge Cotto fan, but that would be a very dangerous opponent for Cotto's WW debut.

that fight would be like quintana julio. or at least just as entertaining, if not more so.

and quintana's style is wierd. he kinda slaps that jab out there but its not quite a back-hand... and i think he's a southpaw as well. he'd give any fighter trouble IMO

Quintana's not ****** enough to believe Arum's **** like alot of fans do. He knows damn well that if Cotto beat Urkal then Arum still wouldnt let Cotto anywhere near Quintana. He knows that all he would be doing is letting Cotto get a belt and then a big fight while he is ass out. Arum wont let Cotto near Quintana any time soon

Miguelito would destroy Quintana in 9 or less.

Yeah, I'm trying to think of the other boxer that throws his jab like that, back-handed kinda. Anyway, I dont see why he should take the money the good purse and the contract to fight the winner. The exposure on the same card would probably increase his fight with Cotto's marketability and increase his paycheck with Cotto when they do meet around march.

Wait, just thought about something very novel and unique. Maybe there are fighters who still fight for pride and belts.

I think Cotto should fight Collazo, if he gets passed Collazo, next year face Quintana if he holds a strap.

Out of all the new faces ive been seeing recently,Quintanas definatly the most impressive,he'd give any fighter problems,i hope Cotto dont choose 2 fight him for his Welterweight debut,Quintana knows how 2 box more then a mother ***er
