when he fought Sosa he was defending his new belt at 135 against a fighter who hadn't lossed in 3 yrs or about 10 fights. he fought N'dou for another defense for his 135 belt, Ndou at the time was undefeated or maybe had 1 loss, but he was seen as this big puncher who could lay the hammer to Floyd, it was supposed to be tough and Floyd was supposed to run to a decision. That didnt happen, it was stopped in the 7th from 3 straight right hands. Up next we got Chop-Chop, he had just loss to Zab but before that was the 140 champ and defended his belt 3 times before Zab. Also he will be the 140 champ again once he beats Witter this year. Bruseles was fought for the eliminator, he had to do that to fight Gatti. Thats called sequential order, taking the correct steps to success. gatti was the champ when he fought him and a legend on the East. alot of people thought Floyd would lose and be punished by the bigger fighter who was a known proven warrior. Now someone earlier said everyone knew that Gatti didnt have chance, but where picking him on emotions and heart. I dont know why they were picking gatti to win, but hte point is they were picking him over Floyd! Floyd then became the P4P best after the fight, that fight and the fashion he did it in scared Cotto and hatton and forever and shot him to this superstar status that he has now. Sharmba, a former champ was a tuneup for Zab at 147. Thats it, he could have chose a low ranked #10 fighter for his debut at 147 like Cotto will do! Zab was da man, period. He was undisputed champ at 147. the guy had all the belts and superb skills when focused, and he still got dealt with in high fashion. instead of knocking the fighters floyd made look so easy, maybe we need to realize that the Yung Floyd is just that good!! he makes proven Champion look like amateurs, maybe dude is that good and we lucky to be able to witness it.

not too mention all the guys in the first list (if im not mistaken) are still fighting at 130 or 135.....im not very impressed.Originally posted by MKOSPIB2Before Castillo he fought good opposition jesus chavez, carlos hernandez, diego corrales, genaro hernandez, angel manfredy, and of course castillo twice, all of them had lost b4 fighting floyd except corrales which was maybe his best performance of all time besides his second fight wit castillo...After Castillo its much different though,
Victoriano Sosa- A whateva opponet for floyd some people thought he beat spadafora in there fight and sosa in his second fight b4 floyd had a draw wit lamar murphy(27-6)...
Phillip N'dou- a 31-1 puncher but wit no names on his resume inless u count Cassius Baloyi as one and had been knocked out b4 in his only loss by a fighter who was 13-15-4 named anthony cambpell, not a good fight for floyd...
Demarcus Corley- was coming off a loss to Zab Judah and a year layoff when he fought floyd, not a good fight for floyd but he wanted to test 140 so ill say it was a whateva fight...
HENRY MUTHA****IN BRUSELES- Thats all i really got to say but ill break it down anyway, he was comin off a draw to Enjer Julio, and it thats not bad enough a couple fight before that he lost to ernesto zavala, and has no names what so ever on his resume, so this is a WTF are u thinkin about fight for floyd...
Arturo THUNDAH Gatti- A fighter who floyd said was a C-Class fighter and paper champion but yet hounded and chased until he got to fight him, if ur p4p why chase a C-class Paper Champion into a corner to fight u, Quit bein a bully floyd, heres a quote from floyd on fnf "No Fighter Wit 6 loss's aint never gonna beat me" so why fight him floyd? easy money, a bully fight for floyd...
Sharmba Mitchell- A fighter coming off a td win over a nobody and b4 that a HUMILATING loss against Tszyu who destroyed him in 3 rounds, but floyd claimed this was his "tune-up" so a lot of people let him slide, it took floyd 6 rounds to dispatch of him, 3 more then tszyu and some say it was premature doesnt matter cause floyd would have won anyway, and only a year later floyd claims he doesnt know who paul williams is, hes the fighter that ****ted on mitchell worse then u did thats who floyd...and the only reason i bring up who knocked mitchell out quicker is because roger mayweather bragged about floyd beatin gatti in 6 compared to baldomir in 9...
Last but not least
Zab Judah- A fighter who was coming off a unthinkable loss to Carlos Baldomir, but still this was floyds best performance since castillo 2, Even though his right nut will never be the same due to judah ****in his **** up this was a good win for floyd, but at a time when the fight didnt mean ****, he should have waited for zab to get back on his feet before beatin a fighter who comin off a loss, but as we can see floyd has no problem fightin fighter's who are coming off loss's...
Tszyu beat the last 2 fighters in much easier fashion then floyd b4 losin to ricky hatton, but people still claim floyd has done right by us the boxing fans, in my opinion and i say my opinion because i know a lot of u have been BRAINWASHED by Floyd, he has wasted prime years fightin unworthy opponets who had no Big Name Wins on there Resume but did have big name loss's, judah bein the best of the bunch and the only won who actually beat a big name if u consider spinks that, and he was comin off a loss himself and not to a big name opponet, So for him to say margarito has to fight a big name opponet is hypocritical cause bruseles didnt, neither did n'dou and the rest of them got BEAT by Big Name opponets but Didnt Win like floyd says u have to in order to fight him, So my advice to Margarito is, U gotta Lose to a Big Named Opponet, Or lose period b4 Floyd Fights u, but even then u still mite not get ur fight...Floyd has fooled all of u into thinkin resume wise hes P4P, skill wise i think he is, but resume wise theres fighter wit better resumes in the last 3 years then his...so time for the hate to commence...Comment

He wasnt P4P the best when he fought Bruseles, Ndou, his status his situation wasnt the same. he worked for in the ring by beating those fighters. He wants to be greatness, u cant keep doing what u were doing, u got to step up. Some things I did at 18, i wouldn't do now. It's called growth, he is bigger now and he into big things. If margo wants to be big named then get it in the ring by fighting real challengers that are above what he has currently been fighting. There is whole list that wanted to fight him: Williams, Ouma, Winky, Collazo, Zab, Quintana, Rivera. He got his chance now to show and prove that he worthy. So what is he going to do, FIGHT CLOTTEY!!Comment

Floyd is not smaller then Gatti..Floyd is not smaller then Baldi..Originally posted by Mayweather90Beating Gatti was big because he beat him in Atlantic City and he did it on PPV. How is Floyd the bully when he's the smaller man and people thought he was going to lose to Gatti.
Floyd having the ability to throw punches and get out of the way is just his skills. He's not doing anything illegal so I don't see the complaints about it. If the other boxer doesn't like it don't fight him.Comment

what does that have to with anything, margo couldnt even move up in weight and be succesful, hardly any of the people on his resume could even win at 135. what fighter currently has better names that moved up to a bigger weight class? What are u talking about?Originally posted by trueboxingfannot too mention all the guys in the first list (if im not mistaken) are still fighting at 130 or 135.....im not very impressed.Comment

Gatti started his career at 130 however. He was a blown up fighter who had always put on a lot of weight between fights. His bone structure was slight and his natural power was nothing at 147 however.
Now Baldomir is a very physically strong NATURAL welterweight. He is certainly much bigger and stronger than Floyd, whereas Gatti really wasn't that much of either.Comment
