Floyds Mayweather Resume Before Castillo and After Castillo!!!

Before Castillo he fought good opposition jesus chavez, carlos hernandez, diego corrales, genaro hernandez, angel manfredy, and of course castillo twice, all of them had lost b4 fighting floyd except corrales which was maybe his best performance of all time besides his second fight wit castillo...After Castillo its much different though,

Victoriano Sosa- A whateva opponet for floyd some people thought he beat spadafora in there fight and sosa in his second fight b4 floyd had a draw wit lamar murphy(27-6)...

Phillip N'dou- a 31-1 puncher but wit no names on his resume inless u count Cassius Baloyi as one and had been knocked out b4 in his only loss by a fighter who was 13-15-4 named anthony cambpell, not a good fight for floyd...

Demarcus Corley- was coming off a loss to Zab Judah and a year layoff when he fought floyd, not a good fight for floyd but he wanted to test 140 so ill say it was a whateva fight...

HENRY MUTHA****IN BRUSELES- Thats all i really got to say but ill break it down anyway, he was comin off a draw to Enjer Julio, and it thats not bad enough a couple fight before that he lost to ernesto zavala, and has no names what so ever on his resume, so this is a WTF are u thinkin about fight for floyd...

Arturo THUNDAH Gatti- A fighter who floyd said was a C-Class fighter and paper champion but yet hounded and chased until he got to fight him, if ur p4p why chase a C-class Paper Champion into a corner to fight u, Quit bein a bully floyd, heres a quote from floyd on fnf "No Fighter Wit 6 loss's aint never gonna beat me" so why fight him floyd? easy money, a bully fight for floyd...

Sharmba Mitchell- A fighter coming off a td win over a nobody and b4 that a HUMILATING loss against Tszyu who destroyed him in 3 rounds, but floyd claimed this was his "tune-up" so a lot of people let him slide, it took floyd 6 rounds to dispatch of him, 3 more then tszyu and some say it was premature doesnt matter cause floyd would have won anyway, and only a year later floyd claims he doesnt know who paul williams is, hes the fighter that ****ted on mitchell worse then u did thats who floyd...and the only reason i bring up who knocked mitchell out quicker is because roger mayweather bragged about floyd beatin gatti in 6 compared to baldomir in 9...

    Last but not least

Zab Judah- A fighter who was coming off a unthinkable loss to Carlos Baldomir, but still this was floyds best performance since castillo 2, Even though his right nut will never be the same due to judah ****in his **** up this was a good win for floyd, but at a time when the fight didnt mean ****, he should have waited for zab to get back on his feet before beatin a fighter who comin off a loss, but as we can see floyd has no problem fightin fighter's who are coming off loss's...

Tszyu beat the last 2 fighters in much easier fashion then floyd b4 losin to ricky hatton, but people still claim floyd has done right by us the boxing fans, in my opinion and i say my opinion because i know a lot of u have been BRAINWASHED by Floyd, he has wasted prime years fightin unworthy opponets who had no Big Name Wins on there Resume but did have big name loss's, judah bein the best of the bunch and the only won who actually beat a big name if u consider spinks that, and he was comin off a loss himself and not to a big name opponet, So for him to say margarito has to fight a big name opponet is hypocritical cause bruseles didnt, neither did n'dou and the rest of them got BEAT by Big Name opponets but Didnt Win like floyd says u have to in order to fight him, So my advice to Margarito is, U gotta Lose to a Big Named Opponet, Or lose period b4 Floyd Fights u, but even then u still mite not get ur fight...Floyd has fooled all of u into thinkin resume wise hes P4P, skill wise i think he is, but resume wise theres fighter wit better resumes in the last 3 years then his...so time for the hate to commence...

      Yes!

      That's what I'm talking about!

Ever since Floyd fought Castillo, he's handpicked the rest of his career.

Now he bases all his choices in "business decisions." He's been doing it since 2002 when he became pound-for-pound the greatest ninja in boxing by avoiding Castillo IN the ring.

Beating Gatti was big because he beat him in Atlantic City and he did it on PPV. How is Floyd the bully when he's the smaller man and people thought he was going to lose to Gatti.

Floyd having the ability to throw punches and get out of the way is just his skills. He's not doing anything illegal so I don't see the complaints about it. If the other boxer doesn't like it don't fight him.

no one actually thought gatti could win, even people who said they did didnt even think gatti can win, gatti was a huge underdog, people put there heart into that fight and hoped gatti would win, but no one seriously thought gatti had what it took to be beat floyd, floyd could have hounded tszyu about a fight and would have been a much more entertaining fight, so he didnt even beat the real champ at 140, just the Paper C-class Champ as he likes to say...

The bad thing about Floyd's resume is not the names because almost everyone on there is a name opponent who either had the potential to be great or was good enough in their heyday. The problem is...they are usually fighters coming off losses.

Sosa had lost to Spadafora in his last big fight
Corley had lost to Judah in his last big fight
Bruseles you say was coming off a draw
Mitchell was coming off a knockout loss in his last big fight
Judah was coming off an embarassing loss in his last fight

The opposition is fine....IF THEY HADN'T JUST LOST. This is why people criticize Mayweather. The opponents are good ones, but the fact that they are coming off losses when they fight Mayweather makes them losers.

I keep saying if anybody wants a shot at Mayweather, all they gotta do is lose first (this goes for Margarito, Hatton, etc, but not DLH or Mosley obviously)

i agree on that last part u said, they wouldnt be bad if they didnt lose and that all u have to do is lose and u can get a fight wit floyd, but the fact that they did lose makes me not capapble of justifyin what floyd is doin, and bruseles is just rediculous...and cant nobody justify his willingess to fight bruseles and not margarito...

yeah floyd learned after fighting castillo that fighting the same caliber of fighter castillo, he is going to have to dig deep and really explore himself to see what he's made of, and since then he hasn't even had a fight that has come close to pushing him to his full potential.

ever since the castillo fight, as i've mentioned before on another thread, mayweather learned about really coming into a fight prepared and being in tip top shape, because castillo made floyd work hard for his controversial win. ever since fighting castillo mayweather has always been in top shape, i know floyd always says that he's in top shape, but castillo made floyd aware that there are guys out there who are willing to sacrifice all they have to put up against him.

i don't think floyd wants another fight as close as his fights with castillo. and his opponents do seem to be hand picked ever since, i give credit for pointing that out. i'm just glad floyd is fighting a guy who is a guy that you can say is really tough. he's bigger and stronger than anyone floyd has fought, but he's slower and a lot less talented. slower and less talented plays into floyds game still, but at least baldomir isnt some guy that is too old to be fighting floyd or is too young and green to be fighting floyd.
i just hope that after this fight, floyd steps it up and fights the bigger names and gives us fans the fights we want to see.
i find it funny that fighters always say they want to give the fans fights they want to see, but then never make them, they make some other fight and call that a fight that fans want to see. when in reality all they do dress it up, use some smoke and mirrors, and call it a worthy fight, when it's just a way to drain more money out of peoples pockets.
hopefully floyd will step it up after this, but i aint holding my breath.
