Did Gatti REALLY get beaten up by Baldomir?

    I dont remember how I scored it or was it even close but my point is that even in the rounds he lost, I thought he still did some things really well.

    Gatti landed a bunch of punches in this fight so I dont know why you guys act like he did nothing. He scored alot & hit Baldy with some clean power shots that wouldve stopped everyone at 140 & alot of guys at 147. I also felt that Gatti was the most coodinated I had seen him in years. He was very fluid in that fight.

    Baldy was just too big & too good

      margarito wouldnt beat gatti imo,and a prime gatti wud destroy boldomir,hate 2 c my favorite fighter get beat like that but i suppose hes jus had his day

            Gatti was just beaten up over 9 rounds in that fight. There is no way any of you could have had it close or thought Gatti was being effective against Baldomir. It was completely one-sided. Not a massacre like Gatti-Mayweather, but still completely one-sided. You all are kidding yourselves. Even the most adamant Gatti fans like kfootball and evilsaint had it for Baldomir going away. This fight happened less than a month ago and you all don't even remember your scorecards? Give me a break.

              gatti lost this clearly.. he still has skills.. he isn't shot.. but retirement is best because i don't want him to end up like meldrick taylor.. i love my boy so its best for him to just retire while healthy

                Would have been a much closer fight if Gatti could have avoided all those right hands. That was the money punch for Baldomir.

                  yeah that's like saying Chris Byrd would have made it a closer fight if he was as big as Wladimir Klitschko is. Gatti's defense is absorbing punches with his face.

                      This is my point right here & Im not even a Gatti fan. If I can remember right, I think he won 3 rounds but Im saying that you cant call a fight a beating when Gatti landed so many shots on him. The difference was that Baldy was too big & could hurt Gatti but Gatti couldnt hurt Baldi.

                      He still matched Baldi pretty well punch for punch & so on. You could see that Baldy was just too much but its not like Gatti completely ******.

                      I think Gatti wouldve gave Hatton & Cotto hell on that night. He was more fluid then I have seen him in a long time. Baldy is just alot better then people give him credit for and when you take that into account then Gatti did alot better then people think
