Did Gatti REALLY get beaten up by Baldomir?

I was just curious on all of your opinions, as far as the scorecards were concerned, i think the fight was pretty even, just Baldomir really hurt Gatti in the rounds that he did win.

I've seen people saying Gatti got his butt whooped, I just want to see who actually agrees with that.

I am a huge Gatti fan but yeah he got his ass kicked. Gatti is pretty shot these days. He might have won the first round and landed a couple good shots but they didn't really hurt Baldy.

he's an ol club fighter... tough. can slug but can't fight anyone worth fighting for big money. Antonio Margarito would kill him in the first minute or so haha

This goes back to what I was saying about how Gatti looked the best I had seen him look in a long time. Baldy was just a big strong monster. No way Gatti is shot. He wouldve beaten alot of guys on that day and gave alot of others a very tough fight

Shanus, which rounds did Gatti win? I don't remember really. He had his moments, certainly, but I thought he was whooped pretty good.

I don't remember, but I remember him outboxing baldomir early on (vaguely) and Baldomir coming back towards the end.. possibly taking a slight lead in the score cards, but it was pretty close.

Gatti was up against a bigger guy with a rock solid head. Gatti tried to mix it up too much but his arms were too short against a naturally bigger guy and he missed wildly at times. Baldi just kept up the pressure and hit much harder. And as you all know, Gatti is not that difficult to hit.

I swear sometimes his head looks like a bobble head when he gets hit.

Why do you say that? He wasn't throwing combinations inside and hardly threw his left hook to the body which is his signature punch.

You could give Gatti 2 rounds at most. He was thoroughly beaten and had no answers.
