I see people mentioning Frank Bruno, it was only really Mike Tyson who had a easy time with Bruno in their rematch.

In all of his world title fights, he gave the champions are extremely difficult time.

Frank Bruno fought better against Lennox Lewis in comparison to David Tua.
Bruno got stopped twice against Tyson and once each against Tim Witherspoon, James Smith, and Lennox Lewis.

Bruno had no gas tank and a suspect chin. Tua would've slept him, unquestionably. Bruno was a one win wonder against a version of McCall whose life was spinning out of control at the time.

Four stoppage wins and a draw against heavyweight champions for Tua completely dwarfs anything Bruno did. Ruiz, Rahman, Maskaev, and especially Moorer were all better than McCall and Ruiz stopped them all.

When the pressure was on? David Tua really should of done better vs Lennox Lewis, goodness me Lewis didn't even get out of 1st gear etc

Fair enough Bruno eventually got stopped by those champions, but it is a myth that he would just disappear 'He was tougher than some people make out'.

At the end of the day Frank Bruno when the pressure was on 'Became world champion' he was not even in his best condition at that stage of his career either.

I liked David tua. He had Atg heavyweight power and chin with some impressive wins over good fighters. A shame he never won a title

              B+

Really like Tua, iron jaw, fantastic power, very nice combination punching.

His problem though was he moved in straight lines, it's not even that he was slow footed but he literally just moved forward in a straight line. Lewis had an easy night with him once he worked out to just show Tua lateral movement.

But with that being said not many other fighters could pull that off.

By the way Tua was better than Bruno, I don't know whay that's a debate tbh, and Bruno WAS a better fighter than he gets credit for, it's just that Tua is really really good.

Much better. Tua looked lost in the Lewis fight. He's not a lock to beat Bruno. Far from it.
