Um the smith-ryder fight isn't an opinion. Its fact. Your probably the same fangirl that goes "he got the decision so he won" despite the fighter clearly losing.

Wtf does height have to do with anything? Smith had a short camp. Fact. All he did was shell up for 12 rounds in an absolute bore of a fight. A cash out nothing more. Stop being a crybaby
WTF you think Andrade would do for 12 rounds?? He would run in a bore of a fight.

Jack ass Jack Culkey gave Andrade NIGHTMARES in a SD. U know what SD even means??? A guy name Guido Pitto beat him...lmfao.

How does everyone THINK (not feel for the emotional speedo wearing males on the thread) Canelo would have faired against the likes of other truly great super middleweight alike Roy Jones Jr, Joe Calzaghe, Bernard Hopkins, Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank, James Toney, Andre Ward, or even middleweights the likes of Mike McCallum, Michael Nunn, Gerald McClellan, Julian Jackson etc?
We can all argue about referees and judges sleight of hand but I would say the greatest Mexican fighter ever (Mexican actually from Mexico not Mexican Americans who are Americans need I remind you) is JC Superstar. That man fought the best, Whitaker, DLH, Rosario, Camacho, Randall, Taylor, Haugen, Tszyu, Lockridge, LaPorte, Mayweather....the only one you can say he really didn’t mix it up with was Juan Coggi anf I don’t think that was an intentional duck. Canelo was once the biggest draw in the sport when he was fighting on Showtime and certainly on the great home of boxing in its day HBO, but that’s not the case anymore. It may be again when he moves away from the app....but the point is, will he be REMEMBERED in the way JC Superstar or even Salvador Sanchez are?

He'd box circles around canela. Thats the whole reason he fights come forward fighters so it could look like hes a great counter puncher and he isnt. If he were to face another boxer or a slick one it wouldn't be to hard to make canelo look average which he is

Even if Canelo moves to 175 the haters gonna still hate!

          Here's the excuse I'll here...

Bieterbiev almost 40. And was dropped by Jeff Page and Callum Johnson doe!!!! And only has 15 fights.

Bivol he only has 17 fights and a few seconds more Joe Smith would of KO'd him. Bivol was saved by the bell...

Canelo should fight Usykk!!!! Canelo can make CW and Usykk used to fight there...

All the same fkn clowns is see now was the same clowns I saw years ago saying GGG KO's Canelo EASY!!! Will never fight him.

Saunders would box the brakes off Canelo.

Smith (When he won his World Series) Smith would KTFO of Canelo. That's why he chose Fielding instead.

Yup same ass clowns just jeep changing the boogeyman...

Yaaawn, it's funny how all you Canelo hating ggg stans scorned have finally reached acceptance stage of the 5 stages of grief. You no longer say what fighters will supposedly beat Canelo like you used to, because whenever you do he beats them & you pretend they warent claimed to be boogieman afterwards.

You have finally accepted that Canelo is an atg & already the best of his era,so all you have left to play is the "hell lose to every other atg in prior eras" card, because thats the only goalposts moving still available to you to hate, that cannot be disproven because its a fantasy you came up with (like when u used to say ggg would beat those guys,or that ggg would ko gingerballs)

.(It says a lot when even Charlo had to give Canelo mad respect but haters still pretend Canelo isnt on a legendary run of back to back champs in different divisions (all highest rated champs at jmw,mw,Smw, hes already faced at only 30 & no less than #2 at lhw,hes beaten 6 champs that could be classed as lineal fights because they were either lineal or were ranked highest in division)

If he can do that at 168 that will be impressive. Would love to see him fight Benavidez as well. Benavidez will be a pretty good challenge for Canelo.

Just to clarify: No Mexican has won the undisputed championship since the two belt era. Meaning before 1983 when the IBF title was introduced. Before then there were plenty of undisputed Mexican champions.

I'm crying because I list some cold, hard facts? The person who has let their emotions get away from them is the person who won't accept reality. Smith-Ryder is an opinion. If he got the decision, he gets the W and Ryder gets the L. That is reality, whether you like it or not. If you can't see that, then it's pointless discussing it because you have become divorced from reality.

Height is a physical attribute. Physical attributes like height, weight, reach are important factors in combat sports like boxing. Why am I having to explain this? It's self-evident, I'd have thought.
