Then how come he didn't go for undisputed at 154? He kept insisting he couldn't go up to 160 cuz he wasn't a middleweight? So why not go for undisputed then in your weight class if it's so important? I'll tell you why. I'll tell you why. Let's look at who the other champions were in 2015 at 154

So he could have fought Andrade. NOPE. Could have fought Mall or Mell. NOPE. Could have rematched Lara. NOPE.

Not the best nor is it the worst. Unifying it is still quite the accomplishment no matter how you downplay it. Beni, Plant, Jacobs and Saunders SMW is hardly a dead division. Smith probably got a gift but was still a champion and an accomplished boxer. For the attributes he held over Canelo he was risky. Saunders is also risky as is Plant. Take your own advice and look at from an unbiased perspective.

Lol you clearly missed the jacobs-rosado fight. The only one worth fighting at 168 is benavidez but canelo doesnt want to fight mexicans suddenly. Plant is just cashing out just like smith. Andrade is not a slick boxer, neither is Charlo. Plant,or even Saunders is slicker though I think Mall is better overall.

It's a lot more complicated than "slickness", Andrade doesn't move around nearly as much as Lara, but the bottom line is he's faster and has better reflexes than any recent Canelo opponent, massive reach and is very good with it, great jab, great footwork, very difficult to hit, and has some good pop too.Call it whatever you want, it's a tough fight, CAnelo knows this, that's why he's never wanted to fight him.

It would've been more impressive if he would've been undisputed at 160 but I think he lost the 1st fight therefore a rematch wouldn't be warranted if it wasn't in the contract .

Um he is cashing out hence the reason hes not fighting benavidez or anyone else for that matter until September comes and canelo is ready to face him. Even if he were to put up a fight it wouldn't matter cause canelo has the judges in his pocket. Another reason why his fights arent worth watching. You have to drop him 3times each round just to get a draw
