You’re missing the point. The fact that he was the youngest 4 div champ in the history of boxing is literally meaningless at this point. Carries absolutely zero weight because he’s far removed from that.

It’s the same thing as me saying, “Mike Tyson is the youngest Heavyweight champion of the world!” That doesn’t matter anymore because the current Mike Tyson isn’t going to win a heavyweight championship. Current Mike Tyson isn’t the same as the 20 yr old Mike Tyson.

You are talking like it’s still 2013. The 2013 Broner isn’t the same as the 2021 Broner. What I’m saying and what everyone else in this thread is saying, is the Broner who was the youngest 4 division champion isn’t the same guy he is now.

Want to know why he gets so much hate? He is a wasted talent. He had the goods, but every time he had his back against the wall and he had to step up, he failed. He fails at the biggest stage and he always claims he’s going to be rededicated, and he doesn’t follow through. Same old story with Broner. That’s why he gets so much hate and honestly, Broner deserves all of the hate that he gets. He does it to himself and has no one to blame but himself.

Youngest 4 div champ in the history of boxing is great, but what good does it do you if you don’t do the work?

Accomplishments alone don’t win boxing matches. Hard work beats talent. We see it all the time. Broner is proof of it.
You're 100% correct on everything, I was simply stating his accolades to those who speak of him like he's never accomplished anything in the sport.

Yeah it’s easy to forget that he did in fact accomplish great things. It just seems like he peaked super early in his career.

I think the worst part about it is that people had such high expectations for him I remember people saying he was supposed to be the next Mayweather.

a “stretch”?? Then wat do u call it when a fighter goes in defense mode and literally does nothing to attempt to win the fight?? Laying down? Content to go the distance and accept a loss? Many “underdogs” that are “outmatched and outgunned” still have the courage and heart to go for it even if it means going out on their shield - Mcall v Lewis, Rahman v Lewis, Douglass, Gatti, Ward, Barkley v Hearns, Ruiz v AJ...too many to count! All it takes is one punch to turn a fight...AB just does not have the heart and courage to go balls to the wall and risk going out on his shield for the win - never has and never will!!

wen ur best notable win is against a old pillow-fisted Paulie M....u really have not accomplished much career wise or earned any accolades that will be remembered in boxing. Will b remembered as being an overrated overhyped azzhole who got exactly wat he deserved when Maidana took his manhood and sent him running from the ring in tears as trash from the crowd rained down on him and his entourage!! From entering the ring “rapping” with his ****** entourage, getting his hair brushed by his morbidly obese father to running to the locker room in tears with his tail between his legs!!! Now thats a LEGACY to b proud of!!! One my all time fav moments in boxing!!!

135 - Demarco who was stopped by Valero but able to pick up valero's vacant title after his death

147 - wba from paulie malinaggi who beat some random ukranian potato farmer who seems to have gotten the title as a vacancy from yet another ukranian potato farmer. lost in his first defense to maidana

130 - vacant wbo title for beating a hairy argentinian lyft driver

140 - vacant wba for beating molina

lmao, seriously the worst "4 division champion" in ***ing history.

best win is a close decision against paulie malinaggi. that was almost 8 years ago now. but he still thinks he demands top dollar
