Will Haymon stall Charlo vs Castaño? How risky is it for PBC?

I was impressed with Castaño’s engine. Never saw the Lara vs Castaño fight, but this guy got an engine like most Argentinian football boxers, just really good stamina and endurance. However, Jermell is a sharpshooter and I can see counters that would help when Castaño shells up. Jermell has firepower to slow down Castanño. However, swarmers are risky and unpredictable. What if Castaño starts to break down Jermell on the ropes and catches him with some body shots to slow him down?

It’s a risky situation for Haymon and his client (networks). Should Castaño pull an upset, how can he be promoted? He won’t bring ratings for PBC. This is why Rosario was paid to fall...

Insiders will be paying close attention to Castaño’s handling for bribery, you’lol see. So Haymon has to be careful with Middlemen bidness.

With all that being said, if Castaño gets another fight with like Hurd, Lara, Jrock, would you think Haymon is maneuvering chess moves to protect Jermell for an easier Undisputed fight?

If Castaño wins it can be dentrimental for Jermell and the Charlo brand. The LDBC will go back to selling rocks and stop talking about them. The Charlos don’t even like the LDBC. They don’t give them interviews

It never ceases to amaze me. Folks make up the most excuses for two guys NOT to meet in the ring. We spend so much time griping about duck this and duck that, A sides, B, c and D sides. Haymon, Hearn and Arum(sounds like a law firm). Can we just call for the fight to be made. Do you want it or not? Its the rarest of opportunities for a boxing fan. We need it. Boxing fans stay falling for the same ol bull.

Why are you LDBC kids afraid of the business? Or rather, how come you kids cried GBP emails vs Haymon and trolled all of Oscar or Arum related business? Denialism innit? Impossible to think that a “smart business man” (whom colluded to steal fighters) could possibly not follow he same steps as movers? Naive ness goes a long way. If you can’t stand the heat then don’t instigate the fire

You can't be serious are you? Charlo wins this fight hands down. Perhaps even by knockout if he presses for it. Castano would be batting practice for Mell. The only reason why he gave Lara a run for his money because Erislandy can't hit. You saw what Jermell Charlo did to Jeison Rosario.

To me this sounds like a pretty good analysis. It remains now to see if it eventuates and what the outcome(s) will be.

I didn’t say Jermell would lose. This is boxing. You have to apply risk assessment. It’s normal. Did you initially bet on Ruiz to beat AJ. Did you initially bet on Jrock to lose to Rosario after his great performance over Hurd? Hurd gone missing too btw. The nature of boxing is business moves, we are in pandemic times. You have to be insecure. That’s the point of the thread. Why do LDBC kids get so upset?

First of all, I'm not LDBC and to address your point; I see this as a big risk for Castano because if he comes to fight, then he is going to get hurt. You are right in one sense though. Jermell was upset by Tony Harrison once he decided to out box and not trade punches with him in a very close and controversial fight. So yes; The potential risk is there because Jermell has been upset before in the past. However, I just don't see it happening this time against Castano.
