"Unification" is one of the lamest terms in boxing. Just rank these guys (like Ring does) and say we want #1 to fight #2. Castano is legit because he should have a win over Lara, he beat Soros on the road, and beat Tex handily. However, if Charlo fought Tex last week, it would NOT have been a fight between the perceived two best fighters. Belts mean nothing to fans, so please don't push them. If AJ and Fury dumped all of their belts so that Charr, Oquendo, Stiverne, and Wilder could pick them up, the only thing that would matter is the BEST fighters fight each other. I do look forward to Castano-Charlo happening, as I believe it is between 2 of the best at 154. That is much more important than 'unification'.

The belts or unifications just mean that they will have a lot of PPVs coming up if they decide to go in that direction.

Charlo vs Castano will be an epic fight, imo, while it lasts.

What's not to like? If Benavidez trains correctly (BIG IF) he's a Top 25 Talent in the sport! He and Charlo both want Canelo, and they both have been talking about fighting each other in the press, so i'm excited! I would DEFINITELY pay to see Charlo vs. Benavidez, and Charlo vs. Castano on the same card!
