I don't know why but I feel if Pac had any chance against 1 more top fighter, it's Crawford.

Even still, it will be will against will. Who will break first? I think Crawford will be available to be hit from Pac as will Pac to Crawford at this age. I also think their power may be similar in that Crawford moved up, so did Pac. I'm not sure if Pac still got the speed. He's what? 43? It's nuts. I think his slowed down speed is probably still better than most, but it was one of his greatest assets.

I could see cardio playing the biggest role in this fight. Who can push it out longer over each rd for the full 3 minutes. We know Pac's gas tank is running at around a quarter of a tank these days so he can't fight a full 3 minute rd anymore like he used to. That could be Crawford's biggest time to put on the damage to Pac but you never know.

If being the biggest little word in the dictionary aside. What if Crawford fights Porter and is the first one to stop him? Does Crawfords stock go up? Does he get credit for stopping the guy that nobody else has even though he has been beat before?

No doubt! That would be a HUGE statement win! Crawford has not had a HUGE statement win in years! He needs that! Stopping Porter would be amazing! Stopping Pacquiao would be expected!

This fight was already organized and set to go last year in Dubai before covid changed the plans and they couldn't guarantee the money.

So I think it will happen.

I think Pacquiao has picked Crawford because he's shorter than Spence and one could say that early on in the Brook fight, Crawford wasn't doing well. But i think it's the worst matchup for Pacquiao. I think Pacquiao could have had a big footwork advantage on Spence.

Who knows what Pacquiao sees in the Crawford matchup? No matter what, it's ballsy of him.
