All those you mentioned are overseas fighters, long retired and mostly livingout of the limelight, and don't constantly want to to draw attention to thrmselves. Mayweather, on the other hand, is the exact opposite..No publicity to him, if far far worse than bad publicity and he works hard to keep it going. His narccissistic personality would die - without it.

Loma was a much more developed and greater fighter when he fought Lopez than Canelo was when he fought Mayweather.

OP asked an interesting question and at first I wasn't sure about the answer...but after weighing these factors, I think Teo had a much better win, even if it was a competitive fight.

Mayweather's win is better by far. Mayweather was old and past prime and he easily beat a 23 year old larger fighter who was a future great. In contrast Lopez is a 23 year old just entering his prime and he won a close fight over an older and naturally smaller Loma who is probably past prime.

This is insane lol. Why are y'all so obsessed with Floyd? Floyd's win over Canelo has aged like fine wine. I'm curious what Loma does next but I doubt he goes on a streak comparable to Canelo post Mayweather.

two 154 pound champs fighting at 152...pathetic. also canelo had fought one good fighter his entire career in trout and you could see he was still developing as a fighter. loma was at his absolute peak.

So Canelo dictated the terms of that fight to Floyd?

If the fight with Canelo was at 154, I would still give more credit to Lopez. No one expected him to win. Floyd stacked the deck in his favor before the fight, and then fought a drained talented young guy who came in with a bad gameplan. Trying to counter punch with Floyd lol instead of using your size to try and bully him, or trying to swarm him. That is to be expected with a young guy.

Lopez in the first half of the fight completely neutralized Loma and Loma was scared to even throw a punch. In the 2nd half, Lopez showed he had good mental and physical toughness to hang on once Loma found his footing and some angles.

Just all around it was a more impressive win by Lopez. People really picking Floyd on this one, man fanboys are real lol. Some people just will never pick against their guy in any way if the choice is put in front of them.
