Teo is a POS

Teo is awful, whenever I think boxing can't get any worse with these boxing divas, this guy comes around and becomes the worst boxing diva of them all. He was given the opportunity of a lifetime to get a big money fight against a hype job who is WAY smaller than him and has NO power at all. Best he could do was eek a close decision. He should be GRATEFUL for that opportunity and not act like he's above the sport. Let's get one thing clear, the only difference between Teo and Haney/Tank is LUCK, you were LUCKY that Lomachenko was willing to fight you and the best you could do as a close win. But now you have the gall to think you're BETTER than all of these guys just because you got 1 lucky fight? Tank knocks Teo the **** out, Haney gives him a 12-0 boxing lesson. How is it fair to punish someone like Tank Davis because Lomachenko is afraid of his power, or Devin Haney who didn't get the Loma fight since Loma knew he'd get out boxed bad?Last edited by TernceBudCharlo; 02-16-2021, 02:00 PM.Comment

Great post, agree. I actually agree with Teo. They want to offer him 4 million for his next fight. Lets look at how that breaks down: Half of that is taxes, take another million for all expenses, training, etc... I am rounding off, and he probably might take home about 2 million if he was lucky. Thats really not a lot of money.Teo is just exercising his leverage. I don’t see why posters only get mad when certain guys do this. Winning brings negotiating power in boxing.
Also, can posters please stop the insane garbage about him “not hurting Loma”. He made Loma shell up for 7 rounds. Turned him into a 4 round fighter, and then had him so hurt in the 12th that Loma had to intentionally head butt him to keep him off.
A lot of us, including me, thought Teo would get his ass handed to him by Loma. Maybe land something lucky. We were all wrong. He completely outboxed and out classed Loma.
Just give Teo the credit he earned.
The kid's next fight should reflect what he achieved against Loma to some degree.Comment

Teo is doing what is best for him and his career. People are mad at him because he beat Loma when they thought he wouldn’t.Great post, agree. I actually agree with Teo. What they are REALLY mad about is Loma failed to secure a rematch clause, presumably because he figured he’d win. Instead of calling Loma out for that they instead get mad at Teo for not giving him a rematch.
Get over it.Comment

So if a fighter is fighting scared you can't make that observation?
Loma has more balls than most, but within the context of the MATCH-UP that is Loma vs Teo, if Loma expects to win, he needs a much bigger heart/balls than what he showed in the first 6-7 rounds of the first fight.
Also, Loma should lose the excuses, it makes him look worse after a bad showing.Comment

Do I need to repost all the highlights of Loma beating up Teo? Where’s the scared part? Do you know anything about game plans? These guys are on different planets than you guys... mentally and physically. Not calling you dumb, there’s just so many inexperienced people on here talking about boxing like they know what it is.So if a fighter is fighting scared you can't make that observation?

The scoring was atrocious. Many fighters would be irritated.Comment

Fighters do get scared of being KO'd, that is a reasonable thing to be scared/wary of. The only reason you don't throw punches for 6 rounds is that you are scared to angege.Do I need to repost all the highlights of Loma beating up Teo? Where’s the scared part? Yes, he put the pedal to the metal when he realised he HAD TO, but he needs to fight like that much earlier in the rematch.
Some fighter's probelm is that they have 'too much ballls' and throw caution to the wind. In the Loma vs Teo fight Loma was wary/'had no balls' whatever you want to call it I don't care. Bottom line is he was fighting scared. (if your opponent is featherfisted you walk through them, if they can knock you out you dance and evade for 6 rounds withouit throwing)
EDIT: At the end of the day I do not care. Loma and his fanlovers can make all the excuses in the world. He got beat fair and square. Can he win the rematch? Definitely. Did he lose the first fight, with only himself to blame? Yes.Comment

The only thing atrocious was Lomas ****** game plan. He has nobody but himself to blame for thinking he can throw 3 punches a round for 7 rounds and win, and for not having a rematch clause. That is just ******.Do I need to repost all the highlights of Loma beating up Teo? Where’s the scared part? Do you know anything about game plans?
