Who's the next British boxer to get exposed at the world stage?

    Josh Kelly?
    Josh Taylor?
    Lawrence Okolie?

Apart from Fury (who's a front for Irish mob) & AJ, British boxers are rubbish. Just brutes with no wrinkle in their boxing game.

I thought British boxing would finally become a powerhouse in boxing after AJ put it on the map with his hype. But these guys are just terrible.

Undoubtedly a Brit will lose in the HW undisputed match.

Josh Kelly. I've seen him fight a few times, and not impressed at all. He likes to drop his hands and taunt like RJJ but then he always gets punched when doing it. I also thought Ray Robinson beat him. I don't know much about his next opponent, but he's fought harder fights than Kelly so it might be one of those records that "looks weak" to new fans, but is more realistic than Kelly's.

Fury. Whether it's by AJ or by who ever else he fights. Its he fights someone else in the top 15 or so in the world, he gets exposed big time. This is why he is trying to cash out against AJ now

I think Josh Kelly was already exposed as being a bit flash over substance.

I'd say Conor Benn but I doubt he even makes it to world level.

I think Okolie will overachieve just because of his physical attributes, power & how awkward and horrible his style is.

He just has one of those flawed styles that are bizarrely effective & almost impossible to get into any sort of rhythm or groove against.

He's also in a division where the top two fighters have moved to HW & a few of the top fighters are on the way out. As much as I'd like to see him get exposed I don't see it happening anytime soon.

I honestly think Okolie has strong potential. I also kinda feel Joshua is going to be exposed again.

Not because he's terrible, the opposite actually. He's just not very good. For the life of me, I watch so many of his fights and just have no idea what the **** I am meant to be looking at and why its lauded so highly. I'm a Brit myself and I fight, but I'm in MMA and I think a big part of why British fighters are almost existent in that sport (Leon Edwards is about the only strong British prospect at the moment, I train with him funnily enough) is because its so globalised and requires one to explore facets of kickboxing, muay thai, jiu jitsu and freestyle wrestling. All of which there is very little decent coaching in the UK coupled with the fact that Brits tend to heavily dislike "foreign" things.

We still seem to be obsessed with this ****ing one-two, upright, straight forward boxing, which may work in the ammys, but seems to often find itself lacking when talented British fighters go up against equally talented opponents. This is why I rate guys like Joyce and maybe even Khan pretty highly despite the mainstream sentiment among British boxing fans being rather negative about the both of them. Both have shown a keen willingness to go abroad and improve their craft through versatile American/Mexican coaches. Khan has always been willing to challenge himself among the best at light-welter and I think Joyce showed a lot of versatility when he pretty waltzed through Dubois power shots and jabbed him to death. It was clear example of a guy who had fought a far greater number of varied opponents. In fact, Joyce/Dubois is a perfect example of substandard British coaching. Look at dubois training/bagwork videos, the lack of lateral movement and the comical inability to move his head. It made me wonder why I ever thought he stood even a remote chance against a seasoned/travelled fighter like Joyce.

The UK's boxing is similar to its football. Its often out of date and relying on an athletes physicality rather than their wits or ingenuity. Hence why so many of our fighters tend to seem completely lost when in deep waters. Good fighters tend to stick to a gameplan, great fighters can improvise when said plan fails. The coaching style here kinda beats its students into being one dimensional.

How can you "cash out" against the only other top 3 opponent in the division???

This is also part of the problem. Boxing in the UK is more about following likeable personalities than it is about following talent. Probably why we have a ****tarded PC bull**** "sports personality" award every year. I find Fury s dishonest charlatan and a likely front man for organized crime but, in no reality, is a guy who fought Wlad and Wilder twice cashing out against ****ing AJ of all people.

It definitely won’t be Taylor. He’s proven his level against Prograis, Postol, Baranchyk. World class fighter without doubt.

Okollie is a knockout waiting to happen IMO, he’s a decent fighter but somebody with good timing will get inside those long levers and ice him I think. I do think he beats Glowacki though.

Kelly has talent, but he’s been more flash than substance up to this point. I think he beats Avanesyan but I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets exposed.
