You need to have something. Above average athleticism, hand speed, chin, power, heart., cardio, technical ability etc. there are so many things, and it comes as no surprise to anyone that knows boxing that these guys will ALWAYS lose at the elite level. It's sad but true, there are levels to this. I wish them well and hope they can retire with a lot of cash, but the truth is the truth I'm afraid.
At least they test themselves at the top level. Too many US fighters (or specifically, their promoters) are terrified of losing their 0 and want title fights without ever facing a threat.

Most of the big fights between US and UK fighters in the last few years have been won by the Brits.

In one week its been a year since fury v Wilder which means in 8 days time, Joshua over Pulev will be the only notable International UK win in the last 12 months. (and how notable is that win really)

          That's pathetic.
Jeez mate, how many notable international fights involving UK boxers have there been in the last 12 months?

          Cough, cough, wheeze ....

I was trying to think of 'stereotypical' UK names, 'twas a little joke nothing more. I knew there were many more names but they escaped me, so I improvised.

Agreed. The Brits always are up for the challenge and 'do good' but alas, no-one cares for the runner-up.
