It was what Lopez did that had Loma so cautious. Loma had a few good rounds in a row and even when he won them he was getting countered. The last round showed what would happen if he opens up early.

It would seem like Lopez would want to prove the first fight was no fluke. Most fans want a rematch, it just looks like he's not sure he can win a second time.

Why? You think Lopez would be swinging like it;s the final rd in every rd? He did the same thing vs Nakatani, getting his sht pushed in and coming out strong for the final rd. clearly he likes to pace himself. So “the final round showed what would happen if he opens up early”. Just bullsht.

BS for you but it clearly shows that Loma is the smaller guy. His skills can only take him so far. Since we are comparing fights look at the fight agains the limited Campbell where the size gave trouble even in his winning effort.

Loma look weakened in that last round and that head butt pause things for him.

Even Haney is no longer interested.
Loma's moments in the Lopez fight discouraged him
from pursuing the Ukrainian fighter any further.

Teofimo will want $20 million for the Loma rematch,
so this fight is far from happening again.

But yes, Loma is still the biggest in-house fight for Lopez.
He wants no part of it.

The rematch is the biggest purse he's going to get moving forward. He says he beat Lomo easily. Easy fight, big money but he doesn't want it. Doesn't add up.

I always laugh a little when I hear someone who's never been in the ring before, calling a professional fighter scared.

Anti-Loma fans don't want to see a rematch. You can easily tell who among the members in this thread or this forum in general.
