I think Teo's living on a cloud a little too high and he's the only one up there. He got a "W" against Loma but one that he shouldn't even brag about. What you gonna do? Show your friends rds 1-6 and then turn it off and say the rest of the fight wasn't worth watching? It wasn't a dominant win by any stretch of the imagination and I think he's talking too much when he hasn't done enough still.

Like, if Teo went in and blasted Loma out in 2-3 rds, Okay, you can talk, but this was far from anything like that. I honestly wish they could of forced some type of rematch and that Loma could win to really reverse all the crappy talk since then. Loma should of won overall, he's a more talented guy.

you don't win off talent, you win off rounds. loma won 4 rounds max.

Well, if Loma would of started earlier, he would of easily won the fight. I think rust got him in this one. That and he was having trouble dealing with the size initially and power Lopez showed him. I mean, I guess that is part of the gameplan for Lopez but what else you going to show? He didn't TAKE IT from the champion like it should of been.

Well you are talking about hypotheticals. If loma landed a huge power shot on Teo in round one, he could've knocked him out. But it didn't happen. Loma didn't throw punches, and the more likely reason is that he didn't want to be knocked out.

Lopez was busier, landed more powerful shots. He deserved the win. Oscar blitzed through Felix the first 8-9 rounds. But he lost the fight because he "ran" the final 3 rounds, and got punished (unfairly). But Loma can be inactive for 7 rounds and still expect to win?

Exactly, and if that’s the case then he might as well vacate the belts and move up to 140.

There are definitely plenty of hypotheticals and “what if’s” to consider, which is why I would love to see the rematch.

Would Loma start faster? And would Teo knock him out in that case? And would Loma be able to sustain his late-round surge from the first fight for at least seven rounds this time?

Only one way to find out...

I wouldn't mind finding out. Why didn't Loma include a rematch clause?

Who knows? Maybe it was overconfidence. Maybe it would have been a deal-breaker in negotiations. Only Loma and Teo can answer that
