If a mexican fighter was a champion here and Warrington would be the no-name contender then no one would be questioning continue the fight after had Mexican been knocked down. Everyone is used to see Mexicans falling down and getting up and fighting through their heart.

By boxing rules solely there was no mandatory stoppage there because Warrington got up and tried to fight back. Also he fought really good first 25 seconds of the next round blocking shots while scoring his shots.

I think the ref gave him a chance to get back into the fight which he almost did. Plus the corner can signal to the ref to stop the fight at anytime so I would blame them first before I blame the ref if Warrington took unnecessary punishment in there, they should know their fighter and be a better judge of whether he has a chance to turn things around or not
