Plant wins on points. He is much too big for Spence. He is naturally about 21 pounds bigger. Walking around weight is meaningless for several reasons. First nobody actually grabs these boxers between fights and throws them on an accurate scale an subtacts the weight of their clothes. No, they just make wild guesses how much that boxer weights and they are always wrong to the high side. Second some boxers stay near their fighting weight between fights like Mayweather while other llike Bradley and Hatton get hog fat between fights and can gain as much as 50 pounds. The fact is Spence can make 147 without a problem and has never missed weight in all these years. Plant is a full sixed 168 pound fighter who cannot make 160. Spence is a much better fighter than Plant P4P but Plant still wins a close fight on points in my opinion due to a very large natural weight advantage.

It is very unlikely Spence would enter the ring weighting 175 pounds. He would be carrying too much fat for a boxer and it would hurt his speed and stamina and high volume punch output per round which are three of his best assets.Spence's fight night weight has been about 160 and he won't up it 15 pounds. Plant will certainly be a fit 185 plus pounds in the ring which is a good normal fight night weight for a super middleweight and he would probably out weigh Spence by nearly 20 pounds on fight night.

Way too many ppl,way overrate Plants skills & power. He barely threw any right hand punches vs Truax & its safe to say Truax sucks,hes D level at best,his best asset is that he can take tons of punishment from light punchers.

And Plant freezes when he gets hit,often,he then jabs jabs jabs, Because he has shown terrible ring iq imho. Bottom line is Spence is a very hard punching ww,but he intentionally fights smart behind the great right jab he has not out of necessity like Plant against no hopers,Spence does it because hes smart & he still clobbers his opponents with body shots.

He will be exactly the type of fighter who can carry his power up like Canelo & Leonard before him. He might not ko plant,but hes faster than Plant,has far better ring iq,is a perfect 10 jabber,& has power in both hands & loves hooking the body unlike Plant who fights like he had a stroke on the right side of his body.
