Comments Thread For: Pacquiao: I Told Crawford's Promoter - I Want $40 Million For The Fight

According to eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao, he's ready to fight anyone with a world title. Pacquiao, nearly 43-years-old, was recently stripped away of his WBA welterweight title due to inactivity. The Filipino superstar has been out of the ring since July of 2019, when he won a twelve round split decision over Keith Thurman to capture the WBA title at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

      Crawford’s not taking a 20-80 split.

I wonder why he did not request this amount from Haymon for Spence fight?? Manny knows the Crawford fight will not generate that type of money and Bob will take a big loss. It almost feels like manny is just saying this to say that he tried to make the Crawford fight (which feels like he is not). My guess is that he will fight Ugas to reclaim his title or Mickey Garcia.

If Manny's promotion team pays the money then why not? Arum will be out of it though and he will not agree.

The money would be paid by Saudi Arabia probably...who put up that crazy money for Joshua-Ruiz rematch.

It's possible. Hopefully Bob gets it done, and Crawford accepts. This will give him the leverage he needs to meet Spence at 50-50. As of right now 60-40 Spence is about right, unless Crawford beats Manny Pacquiao.

If Pac pulls it off though, that would set up a crazy undisputed fight against Spence. Imagine Manny beats them both at 43 years old, he would probably surpass Mayweather's legacy.

Idk but pac definitely earned his right to call the shots. I'm a tiny bit satisfied he gets good fights after he leaves TR.. seriously I didn't like his opposition, as a fan it's satisfying
