Can and will are two different things.

Lots of people can beat anybody when everything goes their way.

    Andy Ruiz beat Anthony Joshua
    Buster Douglas beat Mike Tyson.

    That shxt happens

So Canelo was surprised and didn´t know what to do. Canelo said that Floyd had no power, was never hurt at any point and that FLoyd fights like an Olympic boxer, just potshotting, hugging, and running. He was also weight drained and used Floyd´s gloves. Floyd didn´t want a rematch vs Canelo. Floyd also ducked fighters that throw many punches like Margarito, Williams, GGG, etc. and fighters that were athletic like Sergio Martinez, Khan, etc. If referees start deducting points to slick boxers for hugging, not fighting ( running ), boxing would be much better.
Floyd won at least 10 rounds against Canelo. Pretty good for somebody with no power.

He hits and doesn't get hit. That's called you know . . . boxing.

And no, Floyd didn't duck GGG as he and GGG were never in the same weight class at the same time. Same with Sergio Martinez.

And why would Floyd want a rematch against a guy he beat by 10 rounds.

Plant is very green and gonna learn real quick there are many levels between Canelo and Caleb Traux.
Caleb Plant broke his hand in the 2nd or 3rd rounds in the fight.

And Caleb Truax is ranked 9th by the IBF

What about Yildirum? We all know he shouldn’t be anyone’s mandatory? By the way you look silly arguing with Bread, he is trying to upgrade these trash fights by showing how Plant will be competitive. Your dumb ass is on here telling everyone it will not be. What the **** are you doing bro?

You made my point! The other guy said Troux is good because he's ranked #9 by the IBF.

I have to GOOGLE 50% of everyone ranked by the IBF.

I can easily name 15 fighters better them him.

And *** Yilirum! Dude lost in the qtr finals in 3 rounds to Eubank Jr.

Guess who WON that World Boxing Super Series???

Canelo gonna BLAST him out in 3 also! Won't need 12 with some BUM like Plant did...

Well I don’t think what bread is saying is contradicting what you are saying. Styles make fights and even though Canelo may be recognized as a much better fighter than Plant overall. It doesn’t mean what Plant brings to the table will not trouble him. I for one will be happy to see Canelo fight someone of relevance from the states. If he won’t fight the best then let’s atleast see how he does against what could be a top fighter.

Lol. Why do Canelo haters fabricate the circumstances? Do we need emphasize the word “fact?” Canelo has been fighting Champions in his last 3 outtings. Canelo also said he wants BJS in May and possibly unify again in September.

Yildirim is a Haymon fighter. Haymon knows the strings. If Canelo doesn’t follow the WBC mandate then Haymon would go against the WBC’s promise and cause a mess as usual in boxing’s politics with Canelo probably having to vacate it. Sure Yildirim isn’t a threat to Canelo, but Canelo lost money in 2020. It’s merely money gained again, with GbP and DAZN having wasted his year. 1 year is critical for a fighter like Canelo.

Remember that the WBC promised Haymon the winner of Smith vs Canelo to Yildirim, so a even a unification can’t trump it. Haymon is always in the look out for upsets what’s he got to lose with his current PBC state? He’s probably praying for an AJ Ruiz outting.

Now aside from these simple politics, what’s wrong with Yildirim if we’re getting BJS in May? It’s almost as if fans don’t want Canelo active? Activity helps, but that’s not Canelo’s problem for BJs’ time from Murray to May.

So what’s all this Canelo “needs to fight the best.” Most Canelo haters will never be satisfied anyways. He is held to the highest standards in boxing. I diggit! WAR CANELO!

Very practical for Ellerbe to reference old news to make a fight as the opposing fighter progresses.

And Floyd sabotaging 144 with Marquez to submit commission work at the final hour during the weigh in is typical Haymon thievery and why rap fans steal and sell drugs in life. . You must wonder how a “perfect” gym rat couldn’t shave 2lbs of water when he was never known to have troubles making weight. Then again he needed an IV for “severe dehydration” making 147 for one of the biggest fights in his life. YeH just coincidence!

You are just throwing anything that can stick. I make bold statements about anyone I make sure to drop proof.

The proof I sent you about Canelo calling out Floyd is also on YouTube. He beats Cintron and calls out Floyd and offers 152.

I keep asking you the same questions over and over - would Marquez have beaten Floyd had it been at 144? Marquez himself after the fight said it wouldn’t have mattered.

Everyone that called out Floyd got their chance. Except for the lying scumbag Margarito. His fans love to say that he offered Floyd $8m and Floyd refused. Without context, that horseshít flies as truth but it’s not. How can Margarito offer $8m when he’s biggest payday at that time was $2m ?

I already answered you and said that the same thing to others before. People are getting it so it ages like fine whine. I used to be a big Floyd fan too but as time goes on Floyd doesn’t seem as great. The categories in all topics discussed make the standards more comprehensive as time goes on. Floyd at 130-154 is ok, but Duran was a better ATG. I hope to see Canelo surpass Floyd

                    I’m not sure if you are like most people who claim they used to like Floyd but then switched for whatever reason but humor me with this;
In 2007, Floyd was 39-0. He was the kingpin at 130 & 135 and after annihilating Gatti at 140, none of the other 140 guys wanted him. He moved to 147 and got two belts from Zab & Baldomir) which gave him leverage against Oscar (his target for a long time).

Floyd fought 11 times after that, on that list, who exactly was garbage that Floyd shouldn’t have fought or made you to turn against him?
39 out of 50 is 78% so I’m guessing your beef is with the next 22% of Floyd’s opponents?

I like Canelo too and after he unifies 168, I hope he takes in more challenges instead of coasting to finish his career. I believe Canelo will end up an ATG for sure.

Why would he need an excuse?

He won every round against a top 10 ranked 168lber.
