Will Joseph Parker win a title again?

It's been 3 years since he lost his WBO belt to AJ

    He's still only 29

But the division is starting to fill up now with the likes of Usyk, Hrgovic, Joyce etc coming through.

He takes on Junior fa soon in "The new Zealand Ali-Frazier" but after that I think we need to see him in with someone decent.

With Dave Higgins at the reigns though, that seems highly unlikely.

The division is to stacked . Wouldn’t be surprised if he loses to Fa either , Parker is young but it’s not going to get any easier then a Hughie Fury which I thought he lost to .

Division is not stacked at all. Parker is still one of top 10 clearly.

Other guys like Hrgovic, Sanchez etc must still prove how good they are.

Questions like this are very easily answered.

        A) YES he can win a belt, anyone can. Champ retires - champ relinquishes belts - vacant belts up for grabs*, just have to be ranked in whatever organisation etc. heck, maybe a lucky shot at facing a belt holder and landing a clean shot - it is HW after all.

        B) Could he realistically beat the best guy in the division to win a belt? Not really.

AJ has already beaten him, and after seeing how Hughie fared against Parker a fight with Tyson is useless, Fury would eat him alive and play with Parker, styles make fights.]

*edited in for further context - That's how Parker became champ to begin with, a vacant title shot against Ruiz because Fury was stripped of the belt from memory.

He could, but it’d probably be some vacant title

Or someone like a Charles Martin ends up with a vacant title again and he ends up with a shot. But even then, that belt would probably end up getting sold to a bigger name than Parker.

So I’ll say yeah if it’s a vacant belt, otherwise it’s doubtful.

I reckon he's very underestimated on here. Big man, can box, can punch, plenty of experience and still pretty young. He can absolutely win a title. He beat a guy ranked in the top 5 to win a belt already.

He won't lose to Fa, but then he needs a proper fight to get back on the trail. He's far more deserving than Usyk or Joyce, but doesn't have the ranking.

WBA Regular, yes, anything else, highly unlikely. Good fighter, but no more than top 20 for me now with the likes of Hrgovic, Joyce, Usyk, Ruiz, Whyte, etc, having overtaken him since his days as a champion. And I thought Hughie beat him 116-112.

Hes definitely not more deserving than Joyce, Joyce has faced decent competition and is still undefeated ,he would also destroy Parker if he got his hands on him

Lol, people actually compare Hrgovic with Parker. Hrgovic is beating Breazeale`s leftovers only.

Worry think the talk is of Chisora after FA. That’s not the sort of fight you take if you are looking at title shots, that’s a cash out fight.

I know usyk did but that was a different situation. Parker needs to fight higher ranked guys

Could argue he needs to avenge the Whyte loss before he looks at titles?
