The excuses for not making weight mean nothing to me, if he could not or felt it was a disadvantage to fight at the weight then don;t take the fight. I don't need to hear why it is ok to sign a contract for a weight specific and then not make it bc it may effect the outcome of the fight in Diaz's head. Maybe on all JoJo fights boxing should change the rules as far as weight goes for Diaz would that help out ? He has troubles with making weight so lets try and understand him better.

Lighten up. Do you know how long it took him to make that baby? It must have been 5 or 10 minutes.

It's just a bad look and takes some of the fun out of it. Sounded like a nice treat of a fight, still is...but people always going to point at this if Diaz wins.

JoJo wore a Kobe jersey to the ring last fight - Mamba mentality he said.

It has already happened. Did you read the article? He could not weigh in over 10 lbs.

Your comprehension sucks mayne. I said no such thing. GBP are top players in the game. I made it clear, Diaz chose not to Max at the scale since he could be KO’d. He needs every bit of performance to be tip top. Rahkimov looks big compared to him. Diaz needs to win and he’ll get a shot for the vacant again.
Again, in what world does any Champion not believe he can beat everybody in his weight class and so just gives up the belt?

"He'll get a shot for the vacant title again", so what, there's a massive difference between being a Champ and having a shot. And what sort of Champion drops his belt because he thinks he will lose? That is pathetic and he isn't a Champ at all if he does it, just a fraud.

2 or 3 lbs is nothing at all, the heavyweights can fight someone 100lb heavier and still win, why are the whimp weights so obsessed with a couple of pounds?

I was a small heavyweight (same height and weight as Babic) and had to fight much bigger, heavier opponents every single time.

I don’t get what you’re crying about. My comments were acknowledging the nature of the business. I’m a Jo Jo fan. If he didn’t feel comfortable shaving off the 3lbs then what do we care. He said he gained a bit too much during Covid.

Rakhimov is Matchroom. GBP had to be careful. If it had been an all in-house event Jo Jo would’ve probably been allowed a diuretic of some sort. Remember the in-house between PAC vs Rios? All that garbage was to satisfy Team PAC. Arum didn’t care like Rios or Robert Garcia. Everyone needed to deliver the fight. Just saying the politics are easy and industry doesn’t care. Look at the post Draw news surrounding Diaz. It’s all positive. That was to be expected

He couldn't make the weight. It is that simple. The convoluted theory that you put forward just sounded over thought out.

If he were to have lost, the opponent still made the weight and would receive the belt.

I still don’t follow you. I said “Jo Jo needs to win” countless times for him to get another title shot. Promotional outfits’ main goal is to promote Champions. Of course GBP wouldnt be happy with Diaz losing the belt. Which is why I said Heredia would’ve been advised by GBP to AT LEAST win the fight. Diaz represents GBP. These are basic and minimal things if you want GBP to push you, especially in these times. Let’s see what happens here forward with the Draw. I assume Matchroom and GBP will run it back but regarding the belt from a Draw I don’t know. Had Jo Jo won I assume GBP would’ve petitioned to fight Ogawa for the belt. The orgs aren’t obligated to empathize Covid situations and the IBF aren’t as ******* like the others.

I think we just got a few crossed wires. We are both having a different argument here and both have misunderstood each others points I believe.

Anyway we are on different pages so I'll bow out of this one.
