    Tyson 88' vs Ali's Era

Anybody here really think Tyson would go life and death with Frazier in their primes?

I'm talking about Tyson from 88'.

IMO, Joe goes out just like this, but like maybe 2 rounds more.

Who from Ali gives Tyson a really good run?

Holmes, Young, Norton, Shavers, Lyle, Foreman, Wepner, Foster, Patterson, Quarry, Ellis, Bonavena, Folley, Terrell, Williams, Chuvalo, Liston, Moore?

A lot of good names, curious to see your arguments.

-Ali takes him apart. Too much speed, movement, length, stamina, IQ, for Mike to handle. Tyson eats Ali left jabs round after round. Ali by late stoppage.

-Big George blasts him out early. Young Foreman was much craftier defensively and in setting up his shots than he sometimes gets credit for. Combine that with his size and power, and Iron Mike has no chance. Big George by KO in the fourth.

-Chuvalo and Tyson goes the distance. Not even Mike Tyson could stop George Chuvalo. Tyson by UD.

-Patterson vs. Tyson would look a lot like Patterson vs. Liston. I love Floyd, but he doesn't have the chin for this one. Tyson by KO in the first or second.

-Liston --- this one is interesting. Very tough call, but I'm leaning Sonny Liston. I think his combination of length and power would be a bit too much. Liston by late TKO or decision.

-Ken Norton is one of my favorites, but I must lean Tyson here. I think Mike gets inside, and his speed and power overwhelms the Jawbreaker. Tyson by mid-round stoppage.

-Frazier and Tyson would bring some fireworks. Someone is getting KO'd for sure. I can't pick. Toss up.

I got Tyson over all of them. Tyson's got 10 pounds on Frazier and twice as many effective hands.

I say that and Frazier is possibly my all time favorite fighter, between him and Duran.

Tyson takes an L here or there.

I don't care what anyone says. Tyson's prime was up to that Douglas fight and if Douglas beat him, ofc any actual great can beat him.

It's just a matter of if they can take his power. If they can, they will win because Tyson will fade.

A guy like Foreman will take Tyson's punches, bring him to the late rounds, and finish him. Because that's Tyson. He's a flat track bully and loses confidence when guys can take his punches.

I like Tyson over Frazier, Ali, Norton, Quarry, Bonavena, Patterson, Terrell, Mathis, Ellis, Lyle. I think he loses to Foreman and Liston.

People don't want to hear this but B-/C+ Level Douglas, who would not be top 20 today, beat PRIME Mike Tyson. The fact is, if Tyson won that fight, it would have been a win in the box of prime Mike for his fans, but because he lost there's more excuses than Deontay Wilder.

              Even in 15 rounds?

I don't think Frazier goes 15 rounds, he's out of there in mid rounds. Against Ali, if Tyson trains for 15 rounds why not? I think Cus could train Tyson to a victory. A completely shot and much smaller Patterson went 12 rounds with Ali, and that was with a bad back.

Man, Chuvalo was pretty tough. Foreman hit him with everything.

Lol, Mike Tyson`s era is one of the worst ever. What is his best win, old Holmes?

What makes anybody think Mike Tyson would have any chance in golden era?
