So who is making Crawford re-sign with TR again and again
and again? These are grown up men and you're treating them
      as if they're babies.

How much is Lopez worth in a Tank Davis fight? $10 million?

Nobody knows who the hell Kambosos is, Lopez only just won the belts and doesn't have a huge following yet. Undisputed doesn't automatically equal big money. A guy like Broner is ten times better known than Lopez, that's just how it is. Plus no full crowds, so the gate is obviously way less than at a normal time

If Crawford signs with Top Rank this time I'll say it was a bad move but the last time it was a good move. PBC was only on Showtime they didn't have the Fox deal yet. Crawford was on ESPN and he was told ESPN was going to put up big money to get guys like Spence and Thurman to fight him.

If Tank was fighting Kambosos it would be a big fight. Not a PPV but it would sell out wherever they hosted it. As we can see all those belts mean nothing.

I agree with you I'm trying to see if people will admit the fighter makes the belt the belt doesn't make the fighter

              Hell no!!!!!

Haymon would just look to use Teo for one of his black fighters.

Teo should sign with GBP or Hearn.

I’m all for Lopez leaving TR and moving to DAZN or become a free agent to make fights against Haney, Garcia more easy to make. And as a free agent he could make Davis fight easy to make. But $1.25mill to fight a no name sounds okay. Sure Crawford gets purses to fight has-beens, low ranked fighters, and overmatched opponents but Arum doesn’t like that and probably won’t so something like that again. Crawford’s ROI is crap. TR has been burned by it and they’re probably paranoid about doing it again. Arum regrets investing into Crawford. Nothing came out of it. Although I do think Lopez has more upside than Crawford. I think he can have a good ROI for TR. But TR seems like they’re going to push him away.

Fighters should sign short term deals. Will make the fights happen

Copy that. And it's nothing to say about Lopez's ability, beating the top guy in the division makes you number 1 and it's a hell of an achievement. But it doesn't necessarily make you a cash cow overnight, regardless of your opponent. Surely Lopez would make huge money in a Loma rematch, or against Tank, or Garcia or Haney. But I think it's unreasonable to expect a huge purse against the likes of Kambosos during Covid.

And? It’s basic economics. Not sure why some thinks this boxers are underpaid just because some other promoters are willing to over pay. Most promoters are not in the business of losing money for their networks. Teo only just came unto the scene with his big win over Loma, that doesn’t mean he would be generating great money right away. The bigger the names the better the money offer on the table.
