Honestly. This cannot be that long of a delay. A month? Povetkin had symptoms and was slow to recover. I cannot see Vaslov who is younger and in great shape, not getting through this fairly quickly and with minimum symptoms. I get this virus - like every other virus- hits people differently and there is a chance he gets harder than I think, but top athletes with top level care by and large ease past this thing like the common cold that is also a coronavirus.

4-6 weeks. Hope we see this mid April.

I'm surprised more athletes aren't catching it honestly.

Idk how you can spar & train with other folks where it's impossible to be 6ft apart or wear a mask all the time. You'd have to track & test people to a creepy degree to still be behind the curve.

That said there is always a false positive so who knows maybe he was super careful & it was just a failure in testing that dinged him.

Either way it sucks, but not the most shocking development these days. Hopefully he's not having symptoms & they can reschedule quick.

        Three main points of catch:

        - Friends
        - Sex
        - Kids

Being careful reduces the probability of catching the virus, but there are still outlier chances that you catch it through unlikely circumstances.

Someone sneezes on his hands, puts the hand on the door and you are unlucky to touch the door handle right after.

With all the fights being called off due to one of the fighters catching covid, is it unrealistic to pay another reputable fighter a certain amount to train and be "on deck" if you will? I know all parties would have to agree to such a thing as guys train for a particular fighter but this has to be a complete ****show for a guy to spend all that time and money training for a fight that gets called off at the last minute.

The magic number generator says, "no figt for you."

                  The nonsense continues.
