Golden Boy Promotions only have 2 champions in their stable and that’s Jojo Diaz and some other guy.

They need to start making moves and force the mandatories for Ortiz and the rest of its young prospects.

Vergil looks extremely good for his age. Based on the glimpses that we have seen from him he gives some of these top welters problems. Reminds me of how Teofimo was getting dudes out of there fairly easy every time he stepped up before facing Loma.

It is possible he could have major flaws to his game that have not been shown as of now. But his power and offense as of today is enough for someone like Porter (right below champion status) to view him seriously as a threat should he keep improving.

Here we go again; Gay La Hoya

Gotta be outta his got dam mind, before he lost Canelo he was the best fighter in the game now we have a prospect who is the best! Theirs a fighter at Super Middleweight who has 19 wins all by ko, so we say he’s the best in the sport, hell Naw! Oscar be on that Don King promoting type sh_t. The kid is good but once again unproven against a real threat and Hooker not a Dessert Storm you know. We all expect him to be knocked out, it’s just how and when that matter. Oscar need to put a sock in it.......

Here we go again. When Oscar starts talking greasy about his fighter to the whole division... we know what is about to happen. Absolutely nothing meaningful. Straight mfk’n cherry pickin. Let the Ortiz duck season begin.

Ortiz is very dynamic, and he probably beats Ennis. Does he beat Spence and Crawford, I'm not sure, but I think Crawford is the tougher opponent.

Slow down there ODLH. Ortiz Jr. has looked good so far and is certainly talented, but let’s not start calling him the best at 147.

Ennis and Ortiz, let it marinate and within 2 years you have a mega showdown unless they pull a Crawford/ Spence.

Spence either stops him or serve a 12 round beating
