This young fellah is very composed, doesn’t like to inflict any more damage than necessary to get his man on the floor. A little too upright but can be fixed, good leverage in his shots but an elite welter will measure that and time it accordingly for the counter shot/s, little and no meat on him so I think maybe he’ll be going to possibly 154 at some point. Over all, he is very good and the best I’ve seen from across the pond in the last couple of years.
I hope de la hobo doesn’t rip him off.

Ortiz isn't as tough as mini mikey.

Ortiz is definitely a puncher--that is always a plus. Hooker is good too so will be a good test for Oscar's boy.

They should have Vergil Ortiz fight Carlos O’Campo. Sure Spence took him out in the first round but with a hard shot to the liver that would temporary paralyze anyone but he’s been looking good since and has a 6 fight winning streak

              ...

Lets see what happens when the kid fights somebody before telling everyone he's the best out there.

I can't put much stock into these guys until they actually face some good comp.
              You mean like Berlanga?

              Oops

The guy literally just beat two certified Top 5 welterweights, won a belt from another Top 5 welterweight at the time (Brook) and one other Top 5 that shouldn't have been (Mikey).

              Oops

And Crawford is a Top Rank champ unwilling to fight the best in the division.
              This is a correct answer.

Intriguing fight that will never happen.

Apparently Ocampo went up to 154, he's ranked there but not at 147. Which is odd, because I seem to recall the WBC was close to making him mandatory over Shawn.

Which is too bad because Ortiz vs. Ocampo is a very interesting fight, stylistically speaking, and a strong test for both guys.

Is Oscar pointing to his nipple? Is he about to poke it?
