  • Comments Thread For: Fortuna's Promoter: We're Ready For Ryan Garcia or Devin Haney

Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney remain on course to return to the ring in April, just not versus each other. The biggest benefactor from the split is Javier Fortuna, the former 130-pound titlist and current lightweight contender who has made his services available to both fighters.

Fortuna is a very live dog. Would not be surprise if he upset any of those show if they faced him.

At the moment I believe he has a shot at the Garcia fight. When it comes to Haney I don't think he is old enough or has enough losses for Haney to fight him.

Samspon and Fortuna have been avoiding Devin the 'Dream' Haney, first they ran to a fight with Jorge Linares for a WBC 'Diamond' belt.

A few weeks ago, Bill Haney was on thaboxingvoice with Sampson Lewkowicz, they spoke about making the fight happen. Now team Fortuna is back at trying to reach a deal with the Golden-Girl hype-job, and thereby swerving the real WBC lightweight champion of the world.

Everybody is ducking the 'Dream' Devin Haney.

Garcia took care of Campbell already and Haney has been owed Fortuna his shot. Hopefully Haney steps up to the plate and doesn't find a way to avoid Fortuna. His belt already has little credibility, so at least give it some with a win over a credible, dangerous contender. Fortuna is a live dog against either of these two.

Yeah I figured a ****** bum like you would pop up. You believe Wilder's lies without evidence, you buy some pig farmers lies without evidence. It is no doubt you would buy Haney's lies without evidence as well. Weak minded clown is all you are.

If Haney wanted all this action, he would have never signed with Hearn. Hearn is about streams of income, not lost causes.

Promoter Sampson Lewkowicz Weighs in on Devin Haney’s WBC Petition to Face Javier Fortuna

“Haney vs. Fortuna will be a spectacular fight when it happens, however, we already have a signed contract to fight Luke Campbell,” said Lewkowicz.
Javier Fortuna never fought Luke Campbell.

“I propose that Fortuna and Campbell face off for the interim title and the winner must agree to fight Devin Haney within 90 days.
                  Ten months have past tho.

I further propose to let Devin Haney rightfully defend his title against a contender the WBC mandates.

That 'Pig-Farmer' never really raised wild-boars. Martin Carefoot's word was good enough to protect Tyson, but not to convict the bum, BOMBSQUAD!!!
