Is that why America is dominating the heavyweight scene right now?

European mix is the world heavyweight scene right now. US fighters are way down the pecking order.

Took on a big fight far too young. A couple of wins - prove the eye is recovered and he'll be back in the conversation.

What is the American obsession with the word "quit"?

Dubois "quit" because he had a double fracture of his orbital bone. That is the right thing to do and in no way detracts from him as a boxer.
It just makes him intelligent enough to preserve his future career.

The alternative would be to go blind in a domestic fight and retire whilst never making a big payday.

At least then people would see him as a brave warrior who sacrificed his eyesight because he refused to quit making a great story for other people to win quizzes with.

There's a difference between someone who can't take the pressure and doesn't want to be there any more (quitter) and someone who retires due to injuries.

They are two very different things and shouldn't share the same stigma at all.

He could start with the 27 fighters Wilder knocked out that were ranked below 400.

He could mirror Wilders opponents completely (where possible) and become world champion through the back door and never fight a risky opponent until he got ****y.

That's my advice, follow Wilders path to championship mediocrity.
