as for ggg-pirog that would have been great. ggg is a ducker and all yet he signed to fight the most dangerous guy in the division hmmm yeah weird right! i think ggg might have won that one. if you watch the jacobs fight the jab of jacobs had a lot of success and ggg dominated the jab battle against jacobs. also pirog was not a huge puncher, that was kind of flukish against jacobs and ggg has an iron chin. i think pirog would have attempted to apply smart pressure against ggg but gggs jab would have bothered him greatly. most of pirogs fights were tactical and i think that wold have played in gggs favor. that pirog-jacobs fight was a surprise shoot out. i think because jacobs didnt know how to handle pressure at that time and panicked firing off lots of shots. ggg and pirog seem more disciplined and it prob wold have been more tactical

That being said he was regressing prior to his accident. He never used his physical gifts to his advantages and although that's what gave him the badass reputation he had it was also his downfall in his tougher fights.

Well said. I agree with this

And it made me think, who had the higher ceiling & which of them do you think would've beaten their opponent they were signed to fight?

Would GGG have even been known & gotten those belts if he faced Pirog(would he have derailed his career?)

Would Williams have beaten Canelo based on boths prior fights?(Canelo Im sure would've still been a star regardless as he went after killers when Floyd schooled him.)

I think Canelo would win by KO just as Martinez KOed Williams. Williams was easily beaten by Lara and won a decision he should have lost.Williams had a high punch output and stamina but Canelo had a much better defense and more accurate faster punches and combinations. Canelo also had his iron jaw and more punching power.
