“Up on the cards,” talk about clutching at straws. Joyce jabbed him to oblivion. Never understood all the hype around Dubois, he can punch but anyone with decent boxing ability and a solid chin beats him.

      Agree. Way over hyped.

Anyone can see he doesn't even pass the eye test.

Well he’s accepting his mistakes and attempting to change which more than you can say for some guys in his division right now. I like the guy, but his physique is far more impressive than his abilities right now. Hope that fresh start comes with a kick of old school. The guy looks top heavy and in need of road work. For nearly all athletics, everything flows through the legs. The man needs to get lighter on his feet. He’s biomechanically designed to fight the way he does it seems. But changing up his fitness approach so he can last longer, increase his mobility, there by keeping his power later into fights should only assist him.

              Starting over means...

Feed him a steady diet of washed up tomato cans and eurobums looking to take a dive, pay off a sanctioning body to get a good ranking then cash out on some shonky promoter hype as the next big thing again.

Or put him in with the Parker/Fa winner and see what he's really all about.

Dubois can still be in the mix but i think he needs a little more experience against some C+ level guys first. He could use a couple guys like Molina, Rudenko, Price, Hammer, Duhaupas or even Johnathon Rice. There are a few other prospects in their 30s who need to step up their games too & could be future opponents for Dubois as well. He needs rounds.

the only reason DuBois was "up on the cards" was because of corrupt officiating

He should have gone to America imo, nobody will know him there and he can really start fresh, he won't get that chance in the UK, he's still got name value and they will try to rush him back to where he was, wait and see.
