Dubois needs more rounds and fights against lower opposition. Than he should come back and try again. Joyce will be retired than.

Dubois is still young, has the physical tools, and can come again. Switching trainer is a good move for him imo, but i also agree with Earl, he should get out of the UK and his comfort zone and train in America.

When a fighter pulls out of a fight, with no good reason, then fights a far less opponent just like Dubois did against Eric Pfiffer you know there are serious problems. Dubois hasn’t got the heart to go all the way

Mark and Jimmy Tibbs are excellent trainers, the very best around.

I fear Dubois is a lost cause though, he just lacks instincts as a boxer.

He's very young so I wouldn't write him off yet. How good were Joyce, Wilder, Joshua or Fury at his age?

That's probably because you DKSAB. The guy is a kid with a very limited amateur career. He wasn't ready for Joyce but his KO power got him to that level prematurely. He can easily come again if his eye is ok and mentally he recovers. He has a good trainer now and time will tell. He has lots of potential and all the time in the world. Give the guy a ****ing chance. Someone loses a fight and all of a sudden they're a bum. People like you are the problem with the modern boxing world.

There are a few other prospects in their 30s who need to step up their games too & could be future opponents for Dubois as well. He needs rounds.
Exactly. It's refreshing to hear someone with a rational opinion on here who isn't just trolling. I want to see him come back and work on his flaws against lower level competition. The people who posted above saying he will come back against Eurobums and are criticizing him for it are morons. WTF are you supposed to do after your first loss where you get stopped and your eye gets bashed in?
Putting him in with higher level opposition right out of the gate would be beyond ******, especially considering he has time on his side.

I agree. I think tibbs is a sideways step at best.

For a start everyone get off the kid's back. He's 23 ffs.
He's young not only in age but rounds boxed, he needs fight's, yes some cans, many cans to be honest so he get's to see every style come at him instead of them falling over the first time they get hit, he needs more fight's like Johnson was it that took him the distance? Low B - C class workhorses. There's plenty.
Dubious feet are ok but his head movement is non existent, read back ive been saying it for year's & for someone so young he needs to get lighter, be more agile atm he's just a plodder.
Anyway i wish the lad well in a tough game.
& all you yanks on his case "WHERE THE AMERICANS AT!?"

I didn’t rate him before Joyce beat him, I don’t rate him now, the loss is irrelevant. Power got him to a decent level and fair play to him, but power is all he’s got. Like I said see how he gets on next time he takes a step up...
