So eventually will Fres Oquendo fight for the WBA title?

Given all of the lawsuits and as I understand it he won one against the WBA will he comeback and fight for the WBA hw title at some point?

Sadly I suspect the answer is yes. If I was making odds for it it'd definitely be a favorite to hit. And it'd be favored to end in Fres losing by KO as well without even knowing his opponent.

Maybe they could put it on the undercard of the Joshua v Fury fight? Joshua could use him as a 2 minute warm up in the ring.

Serious answer - no he won't. WBA needs to make the fight so he can withdraw and stop holding them to ransom. He's got no intention of fighting - he's just playing chicken with them.

Which I don't particularly mind. The guy is making legal money. Good luck to him.

Oh he will definitely fight Fury or AJ and get paid handsomely for it

Even Fury wouldn't have the nerve to try to sell that fight.

They won't fight him. And if the WBA insist then they will simply drop the belt. WBA would be a worse laughing stock than at present.

Not sure why anyone in here is talking Fury knowing that WBA enforces mandatory on the Regular champions, not Super.

Fury would be the super champion IF he beats Joshua. Oquendo would never fight Fury...

It’d be one of the dumbest things we’ve ever seen. I almost want to see it just so we dont ever have to hear of Fres Oquendo again

The way the WBA does its business its only a matter of time before all of us are getting a WBA belt for something. FKK even my dog is a silver interim WBA champion in recess or some chit.
