This is not something to joke about. At my church we volunteer in adult literacy classes. It's very sad but happy to make a difference in someones life, seeing people happy when they progress so far even at an old age.

This post had me laughing! I read the quote in floyds voice, guy is one of the greatest but hilarious he can barely read.Lol in one of the showtime all access where he got in trouble for hanging out and the people around him were smoking the devils lettuce. They ran out of zig zags and they were sending someone to get some more and the guy says
"Which brand do i get?"
And floyd looks at it and goes
"Get......um" unable to read it and say "just get some of these" as he passes him the cover lmao
I butchered it but its hilarious if you see itComment

Remember when 50 Cent challenged him to read that children’s book. Can somebody clarify this?
They’re always poking fun at him for it but that doesn’t make sense.
How does somebody like Floyd grow up and NOT know how to read?
And if he’s retired, he can just hire somebody to teach him.
How do you go through your entire life rich and never learn how to read?

Also random video of a hair transplant zoomed in, it's so f_cking disgusting you'll never look at floyd the same ever again.

Anyone that actually believes that he can’t read must really really be plain dumb. Does he have a high IQ as in high? Probably not from the conversations that have seen from him.
But to say he cannot read at all his plain ******. I think this was started by his former mate, 50 cent and I also saw a video of him struggling to put his words together on a radio show.
But that can happen, we are not all blessed with speaking in public in an intellectual way.Comment

Actually that is not eactly true in every case. Many ****** were able to read, for a varety of reasons. Some went to "hedge schools", others were allowed to learn by the owners so as to do certain work for them, likekeeping business accounts etc. and others were naturally bright, and with a little help basically taught themselves to read. There also could be "rings" amongst the ****** themselves eager to learn, even a little. However the majority of field workers in large plantations were illiterate. The thing is that Floyd never denies it. He’s never addressed it.
And just recently he made a point to say he doesn’t make fun of people who can’t read because blacks in slavery were not allowed to learn how to read.
While that is true, it’s not very likely to be tied into the reason why he can’t read.
I always thought it was just some made up joke or an exaggerated one but now I’m thinking it’s really true.
That’s pretty pathetic dude.
He has the money, why wouldn’t he hire somebody to teach him how to read?
I have several books personally written by ******, detailing their life stories. One in particular told of a small number of ******, regularly "changed", owned by two ***ish brothers, tied to their land, against slavery, but, afraid of their neighbours, taught them to read secretly, to learn trades, allowed them to go out to work with a variety of skills, keeping their earnings, thus enabling them to "buy" themselves free. So there were no consequences. Then I have a book by Frederick Douglass, .
As for Mayweather I would think that it just doesn't interest him enough.Comment
