I can't see how this is a fair match up in any sense of the word lol. Feel bad for Aaron Carter overall. Pretty sure he was ******ed heavily as he was coming up the ranks in the music biz

It's disrespectful to the real fighters who have to come up the hard way and fight other real fighters.
Eh. I'd argue "real fighters" aren't giving fans the fights fans are invested in, regardless if it's their fault or not, so casual fans likely love these freak show celeb fights cuz they are invested in these guys & unlike real fighters they'll actually fight each other.

Honestly I think it's more problematic real boxers have let celeb boxers get so much hype in the sport by just giving fans something fun to watch instead of a -5000 or whatever favorite like Caleb Plant beating up a no hope real boxer. No one wanted to see that bs (ik ik it was a mando, but still the point stands). Celeb fights are delivering more entertainment than the real fighters. 50 year olds had the biggest revenue generating novelty fight last year over the real fights ffs lol. Real boxing should be embarrassed as fook about that.

I agree with most of your saying. Boxing has always been a business first, which us why these circus fights are what people who don't know ish about boxing love bc of these dudes profiles. They have nothing to lose bc they are who they are out of the ring. Real boxers aren't known like them, don't make the type of money these fools make and have everything to lose with a loss. So they gotta tread carefully. But the mismatches alot of the time definitely hurt the sport.

years ago, I think it was FOX channel, used to stage these celebrity boxing matches with washed up celebs. I remember they had Manute Bol and Refrigerator Perry. Thank you Floyd for bringing back trash entertainment for the ****** masses....
