    Shannon Briggs was the lineal heavyweight champion of the world and a two time world champion at heavyweight.

    He failed as a boxer according to some here.

    LOL.

      Darroll Wilson should have parlayed his KO win over the unbeaten at the time Briggs into a better career for himself. Briggs went on to have a much better career than the guy who knocked him out which obviously happens a bit.

        IBF recognized the WBO between May 2006 and February 2007
        Briggs won the title in November 2006, lost it in June 2007

        Briggs was also the lineal heavyweight champion so he's a 2X champion.
        I won't argue because I'm too lazy to look up and you seem confident so I'll take your word for it.

        I had thought the WBC withheld until 08. Easy enough for me to accept I am mistaken.

            I suggest you fix your grading system to be a more accurate picture of the votes.

            A = 94-100 (96)
            A- = 90-93 (92)
            B+ = 87-89 (88)
            B = 84-86 (85)
            B- = 80-83 (81)
            C+ = 77-79 (78)
            C = 73-76 (75)
            C- = 70-72 (70)
            D+ = 67-69 (68)
            D = 64-66 (65)
            D- = 60-63 (62)
            F = 0-59 (50)

            Once you do this, then you can average out the fighter's grade.

            Example, 19 voters: If 10 people pick A, and 9 people pick C, the average is not A, it should be 86, which is a B. Picking the choice that was voted the most as the "average" is not an average.

            C = 75. So you do 75 x 9 votes = 675 points
            A = 96. 96 x 10 = 960 points
            960 + 675 = 1,635
            1,635/19 voters = 86.05 (86)

              Poll only allows for 10 slots though.

                Gave the Cannon a B lol.

                He did have some skills and was entertaining outside the ring.

                Terrible gas tank and juicer.

                Maybe a B was too kind...

                    How the voting process works: Whichever grade has the most votes will be the fighters overall grade.

                    Day 1: Frank Bruno 21 votes: overall grade = B
                    Day 2: Deontay Wilder 30 votes: overall grade = C+
                    Day 3: Antonio Margarito 27 votes: overall grade = B
                    Day 4: Michael Spinks 28 votes: overall grade = A+
                    Day 5: Adrien Broner 33 votes: overall grade = B

                    What grade do you give Shannon Briggs?
                    How does Frank Bruno get a B and Wilder gets a C+, and Margarito should be graded much higher than Broner, taking the 0 of Sergio Martinez and Miguel Cotto is much better than anything Broner has done

                      At his peak, B- 'But I will give him a overall C'.

                      Big puncher plus his offense was not one dimensional, fast but seemed to be calamity in some fights 'I think he lost some fights, that he should of won'.

                      Strange the way he was frozen out of the division.
